Projection Admin 4/9



To do this evening/ was completed: AC Units in 3/7 have been fixed! Ken came in today to work on them and stayed until we knew for sure they were good. 

Exit 8 has been tech'd/adjusted. All good to go. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for the Fantasy Life Q&A on Saturday.

As per Kat's request, I updated the Hoppers/Super Mario Bros playlists with the Kids How To and Policy. 

Updated all playlists that needed the new KGO trailer. 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Dead Lover all set for its last show! Adjusted cue sheets this morning. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested The Big Lebowski to the LMS. 

Noticed that the dialogue at the start of the KGO trailer was soft, so I reached out to Kat and she adjusted the volume. We now have a new KGO trailer V2. OG has been deleted. 

Ingested Generic Artists preshow for The Christophers. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content): To clear up space, I went through content in the LMS and all individual screen servers. Got rid of quite a few features for screens that didn't need specific films anymore. SE shows/ shorts we no longer need are outta here, too. 

Print/video Inspection: Got my eyes on Exit 8 to double check volume/image. 

Cristina and I scheduled a tech for Sign of the Cross tomorrow. 

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes.

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes. 

Marquee updated?:

Posters updated?: Exit 8 posters received.

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday). To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Do the Right Thing screening in theater 1 went very smoothly Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Uploaded keys for The Warriors Outgoing/Shipping (content): Contacted DHL and brought  Do the Right Thing downstairs for it to be picked up tomorrow + removed Deep Blue Sea content from the LMS/theater 3 Print/video Inspection: Tech'd Deep Blue Sea in theater 3 this morning (mostly for a laugh) and the 5.5 volume setting is perfect + re-inspected  Do the Right Thing  after the show and cleaned the projectors/shut the exhausts Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Maintenance/cleaning: Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Marquee updated?: Removed the outgoing brunch titles and replaced them with letters for Pavements Posters updated?: Cleaning lights on for the night?: Projection cart by entrance?: Additional Not...
