NPP Projection Report 5/5 Admin

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: John and I ran through the Doc N Roll playlist for tonight. It's all set. There's a Soundcloud playlist up on the iMac which should play during preshow. I put the spots settings for the intro & Q&A in the event memo.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested Obsession, Bugsy Malone, and The Wiz to the LMS.

Jurassic Park DCP for a private event 

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Teched the three Doc N Roll features we have remaining here. Updated playlists with volume and credit lighting cues and removed the Music Driven preshow so it's just the slide up for seating.

Ran through the NoBudge shorts with Desmond, aspect ratios and volumes logged in the event memo.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: The showtime board software crashed and it wasn't the usual easy fix, but I did eventually fix it--when trying to launch the app I kept getting an error saying the software version didn't match the database version, not sure what that means exactly. The popup gave me a phone number so I called and got through to someone who transferred me to tech support, but no one at tech support answered the call. I left a voicemail which has yet to be returned. Luckily, I found a backup version of the software which opened and displayed today's showtimes on the board. Some adjustments needed to be made (showtimes were displaying in different colors and there was a message at the bottom about the theater's grand opening), but it's looking like it used to now.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): All first run is filled in for next week, including Obsession. If you get to it tonight, special events still need to be filled in.

Marquee updated?: I cleared the brunch side and put up "Doc N Roll Festival" with tonight's title underneath. We should leave "Doc N Roll Festival" up for the next three days and just change the title for the night's show. Rockers Don't Stop tomorrow, Sound of a Dream: Lee Burridge on Thursday.

Posters updated?: I put up a Lauterbach's poster for the event tonight, in place of Project Hail Mary. That can go back up later tonight or I can put it back out tomorrow.

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday).
