Projection Admin 5/13



To do this evening/ was completed: Staff Screenings out on 7shifts, scheduled on the LMS and blocked on the calendar. Scheduled the rest of the school screenings for this week. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Continued building playlists - added Mandalorian and I Love Boosters (see cue sheets below) Double checked playlists for this evening. 

Trailer Updates: Ingested Disclosure Day and Supergirl

Special Events/ AV set up: All set for tonight w/mics. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested Mandalorian DCP and Last Emperor DCP and the following preshow: 
Mandalorian 5min, Masters of the Universe 5min, Queer Camp 25min, 15min, 5min, cinema arabiyya V3 preshow content, Robbin Season, I Love Boosters preshow

Began DCPing Dark Room Shorts - I have done Hollow Coin. I have three downloaded in the downloads section in 4/6 - the only ones that were available. They should be finished uploading in Google Drive later this evening. 

Kindly note that we will receive the DCP of Amreeka about a week before show time, so we will likely get this tomorrow. 
Jason and Shirley folks have been bumped to send the DCP as soon as possible. 

Keys for The Wiz will come in tomorrow!

Outgoing/Shipping (content): 

Print/video Inspection: Reinspected Ladies of Leisure and got it packed again. Sent Sony the print report and reached out about a pickup. They will come snag this tomorrow morning. 

Printed out labels for and got Help!!! on its way today. Emailed Ivan the tracking info.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes. Added/ updated the formulas for I Love Boosters and Mandalorian. Added showtimes for Thursday.

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday). To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Do the Right Thing screening in theater 1 went very smoothly Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Uploaded keys for The Warriors Outgoing/Shipping (content): Contacted DHL and brought  Do the Right Thing downstairs for it to be picked up tomorrow + removed Deep Blue Sea content from the LMS/theater 3 Print/video Inspection: Tech'd Deep Blue Sea in theater 3 this morning (mostly for a laugh) and the 5.5 volume setting is perfect + re-inspected  Do the Right Thing  after the show and cleaned the projectors/shut the exhausts Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Maintenance/cleaning: Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Marquee updated?: Removed the outgoing brunch titles and replaced them with letters for Pavements Posters updated?: Cleaning lights on for the night?: Projection cart by entrance?: Additional Not...
