NPP Projection Admin 6/22

To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues: I noticed the curtains in theater 2 were covering the sides of the image during The Death of Robin Hood in the first round (the mixture of keystoning and the change to 1.66 from scope seem to be the culprits here) so I opened it up to 1.78 which caused some very minor pillarboxing but spared the picture being obscured

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built a show playlist for Benedetta and adjusted the show playlist for Basic Instinct (this still needs one of its pre-show songs updated and tech'd; both features need to be tech'd as well and have light cues placed at the start of the credits)

Built and scheduled an infants show playlist for The Death of Robin Hood in theater 2 tomorrow morning with the 1.78 masking cue included + built "T2" playlists (with the 1.78 masking adjustment) for all future OCAP and CCAP shows of The Death of Robin Hood in this room

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Encore staff shows played this morning in 2, 5, and 7

Set up and tested a mic in 4. Tech'd and adjusted the show playlist for Shakedown and added a lights cue for credits and a 1.33 masking cue ten seconds into the feature (the film begins with a countdown in 1.78 but the rest is 4:3 inside the 1.78 container; I tested the film in a 1.33 container but it was cropped on the edges in some shots so the masking adjustment can stay)

Went through the intro/performance clips for Benedetta and Basic Instinct this afternoon and logged volume levels for each song. We did not tech either feature. Benedetta is transferring to the LMS/theater 1 and we ran short on time in 2 after running through the spotlight settings for the performances (note: one of the songs for the Basic Instinct pre-show is being updated so we can add this to its playlist once it is sent). 

Ran reels from The Butterfly Effect and The Meteor Man for Cristina and Desmond in theater 4 this afternoon and logged volume levels. Both prints looks and sound good. Ran loops and focused the 1.85 lenses/swapped plates. Re-taped the port glass since the framing was set for 1.66 and the layers of tape were piling up. Both projectors have been cleaned/powered down for the time being

Ran a reel of The Meteor Man for Desmond and 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Cat Video Fest posters were delivered and stored behind 3/7

Ordering/Receiving (content): Cat Video Fest trailer was delivered via USB and ingested to the LMS

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Removed Ferris Bueller's Day Off and The Devil Queen feature content from the LMS

Print/video Inspection:
