Projection Admin 6/18



To do this evening/ was completed: Opening up Toy Story 5 today! 

I sent an email to projection and house managers about the aspect ratio change that happens 35 minutes into Death of Robin Hood, in addition to it being letterboxed before that change, just in case patrons ask. I added a 1.66 masking cue so that it is nice and flush for the rest of the film. Tech'd this in multiple theatres to make sure everything's firing off well. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Toy Story 5, Leviticus and Robin Hood all ready to go. 

Trailer Updates: Ingested Oak Street trailer

Special Events/ AV set up: Fancy Dance is all ready to go! Setup a mic off to the side and tested it with the playlist. Should be a breeze and a lovely show. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested The Q&A feature for The Butterfly Effect. 
Ingested Basic Instinct to T2.
Ingested Superman 25min and 15min preshow elements. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Friendly reminder that we will lose Mandalorian and Masters of the Universe tomorrow. 

Print/video Inspection:

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: We received the tracking for Meteor Man, which should arrive on Friday! 

Maintenance/cleaning: Updated the 1.33 lens file in T4 since it was slightly off when teching Devil Queen. 

We received our Christie lamps today. These are now in the booth. 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes. Updated the weekend with Devil Queen credits info. The keys for Ferris Beuller have yet to go live! They go live tomorrow, so please tech and adjust then. Thanks!

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday).
