Projection Admin 7/13

To do this evening/ was completed: We received the first two reels of the Odyssey, which I put in T1. The last reel should be coming any minute now, really, so keep an eye out for it. When it arrives, please put it safely up against the wall like the other two. Thanks! - L
Note: Keys for The Odyssey will come through on the 15th and open up on the 16th. 

Presentation Issues: No issues. I put the fan on in T1 - L

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the 35mm playlists for The Odyssey and scheduled all Thursday shows. - L

Double checked The Invite babies show playlist for tomorrow morning and lowered most of the volume cues as the pre-show and feature were a bit loud + updated the State Your Name pre-show after John Woods asked that we use the MusicDriven one instead of GenericNYC -WB


Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Will(iam) set everything up for State Your Name tonight (thanks, Will!) and I copied the DCP over from the George Ivan drive to the director's drive, per their request. We can hand it over to him either before or after the show. - L

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received a massive standing poster for The Uprising...

Ordering/Receiving (content): We received the last short for NoBudge, which I downloaded and DCP'd. This is ingesting to the LMS. Transferred all of these to T1. - L

Craig (for the Christine DCP) should be dropping off the drive either tomorrow or Weds. - L

Started downloading the Dark Room shorts to a folder on the desktop labeled DarkRoomShorts_AUGUST2026. One short is still uploading. Also, we already have the intertitle and intro slide ready to go (in LMS), so don't download those. Thanks! - L

Received and ingested Josie and the Pussycats. - L

Outgoing/Shipping (content):  I shipped The Fountain to the Roxy Cinema as promised, so that'll be with them in two days time. I sent tracking info. - L


Asked David to send us the return labels for The Fountainhead (which was mistakenly sent to us), printed them out and got everything packed up. Since they sent Ground labels, this will get picked up tomorrow. I scheduled a pickup already. - L

Bumped Katie and Michael about Save the Last Dance (third reel). Just heard back from Katie - we'll use our reel. I'll get this packed and shipped out Weds. - L

Print/video Inspection:

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Cleaned all the port glass windows in booth 4 (booth interior and theater facing sides) this afternoon. Lillian put an order in for more alcohol wipes -WB

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Since we got the film schedule early, I built the cue sheets for the next week, 7/17, sans some credits info for special events. - L

Marquee updated?: State Your Name letters are up on the brunch side -WB

Posters updated?: Since we're not getting it, or it's unlikely we will, I took down the Her Private Hell poster in the lobby and replaced it with Camp Miasma. - L

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. To do this evening/ was completed: I will be out tomorrow as I'm still recovering from a bad cold and need another day to rest. I will have notes via email tomorrow. I will also be joining the cinema meeting and will be remoting in from home. I reached out to Rebecca again and cc'd Lauren and Ian who will be here during the early hours tomorrow so that they know I'm out in case they walkie and can contact me via phone/email. If Jack is able to come in a little earlier, I'll let management know. I let management know about the iPad (per Jack's blog) which I'm running the updates on right now and had hoped would be done soon but they're still going so I let them know to use the Spotify app in the meantime if Soundtrack doesn't work, but it should.  The print of It's Alive  went down well (if you don't count the lad that threw up in the theatre and then right outside the door). NPP Projection Report 11/23 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Checked the Home Alone DCP ahead of the private event this morning, no issues. The party was a bit late seating, so the movie start was a little bit delayed. Overall it ran smoothly. Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Kat will be making a DCP of Guardians of the Galaxy tomorrow for the private event in T1 on Tuesday morning. Chenelle will get the blu-ray sent over here for us to have as backup. I set up the blu-ray player so it's connected to both the monitor and the projector, in case we end up needing to use the blu-ray. I sent Lillian and McKegg an email about this separately. I checked the scope blu-ray projector channel in Theater 1 and it's good to go should we need to screen the blu-ray. I started the DCP of Death Race 2000 on the T1 Mac.
