NPP Projection Admin 8/20



To do this evening/ was completed: We are all set for both Trees Lounge shows tonight. I reached out to Cristina to see what she wanted for the spots/wash situation since it's a big event (and I didn't want the QR code to get blurred out, particularly in T2). I made a preset with a multicolored wash with spots and ran a few sets past her. We're using the same sequence for both the intro and Q&A in T1, which is on a white card up in the booth. There's also only one setting we'll need in T2 since it's just an intro, which is taped up in the booth. I ran through the playlists to double check everything. Good to go. There are two chairs off to the side in T1, but I put a few pieces of tape down to mark them for where they should be during the Q&S. Should be a breeze. Ran through this with Jack. - Lillian 

Platter/projector are clean for The Odyssey in T4. Ran a loop. - Lillian

Ordering/Receiving (content): We received two files from Desmond for Dear Mama, which I'm downloading to the George Ivan drive. I cleared a bunch of old DCPs off of it, too. These downloads will take a good while - they're pretty big, so please don't close my window! Thank you! - Lillian

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Friendly reminder that Blind Fury and The Fan will get picked up tomorrow. - Lillian

Print/video Inspection: Inspected the first can of The Departed, which came backwards (kind of annoying that it came this way, but friendly reminder that if you continue inspecting this, be sure to just go over instead of under when you first inspect a reel --all of which came heads out--, then rewind it as you normally would.) I have the first four reels tails out on shipping reels. - Lillian

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes and the whiteboard is also updated - McKegg/LH

Additional Notes: Started deleting and consolidating a lot of old files in the download folder of the iMac in 4/6. Most pictures of the equipment I put into a folder titled "Manual/Maintenance Pictures." - McKegg

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. NPP Projection Report 11/23 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Checked the Home Alone DCP ahead of the private event this morning, no issues. The party was a bit late seating, so the movie start was a little bit delayed. Overall it ran smoothly. Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Kat will be making a DCP of Guardians of the Galaxy tomorrow for the private event in T1 on Tuesday morning. Chenelle will get the blu-ray sent over here for us to have as backup. I set up the blu-ray player so it's connected to both the monitor and the projector, in case we end up needing to use the blu-ray. I sent Lillian and McKegg an email about this separately. I checked the scope blu-ray projector channel in Theater 1 and it's good to go should we need to screen the blu-ray. I started the DCP of Death Race 2000 on the T1 Mac. NPP Projection Close 9/6

To do this evening/ was completed: Built more SE playlists: Godfather III, Triplets of Belville, Tropic Thunder (SAT), Mimic, Sundays on Fire, Thelma and Louise.  Made a DCP of Ramona Slick's song for the Thelma show. I couldn't locate the Curtain Call/Breakdown DCP Alec made when searching for "curtain call", so I went through the transfer history and saw that it had been ingested. Nevertheless when I searched for it it wouldn't appear. So I dragged into the Share folder and didn't receive any message about the file already existing there. Re-ingested. Went to inspect Vicious Lips but it turns out that we were sent a different print inside of cans labeled "Vicious Lips". The print is a movie called The Vampire Lovers. I looked at the first two reels while I watched Vampire Lovers on Dailymotion and it's for sure the same film. Emailed Cristina. Rain continued on this evening so I was not able to change the marquee back on the brunch side. I did...
