Projection Admin 8/10



To do this evening/ was completed: Found out what was causing the issue with The Odyssey yesterday. I sent out an email to projection/Matthew regarding this and with a slight plea to stay on our best (practices) behaviour while we move through the summer brain fog. A read through is necessary, but it would mean a lot to me if you could seriously take it to heart. 

Matinee Odyssey show off to a beautiful start. 

Presentation Issues: None. 

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlists for Paw Patrol and other SE shows for the coming week. 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Fix T4 up and added gear grease, checked motor control, ran loops. The guide roller at the bottom I have a few ideas for, since I think I know what might be the problem(s). It's not a major, major issue right now, but we should and will start looking into it. I'll work with Alec on this. 

Adjusted lenses/plates and ran loops for Beavis and Butthead in T1. All set for the show tonight! 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received a poster for the film Hope. stored and labeled in T3/7. 

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested new trailers and Dog preshow content. 

Downloading the Trees Lounge DCP via filemail app in 4/6 right now. Please ingest this once it's done. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection:

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes. 

Maintenance/cleaning: 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes. 

Marquee updated?: Yes. 35mm side and brunch side udpated. 

Posters updated?: We can put Paw Patrol out in the lefthand bottom corner on the left side, but there's two large bikes blocking it, so we'll have to wait til tomorrow morning.

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. NPP Projection Report 11/23 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Checked the Home Alone DCP ahead of the private event this morning, no issues. The party was a bit late seating, so the movie start was a little bit delayed. Overall it ran smoothly. Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Kat will be making a DCP of Guardians of the Galaxy tomorrow for the private event in T1 on Tuesday morning. Chenelle will get the blu-ray sent over here for us to have as backup. I set up the blu-ray player so it's connected to both the monitor and the projector, in case we end up needing to use the blu-ray. I sent Lillian and McKegg an email about this separately. I checked the scope blu-ray projector channel in Theater 1 and it's good to go should we need to screen the blu-ray. I started the DCP of Death Race 2000 on the T1 Mac. NPP Projection Close 9/6

To do this evening/ was completed: Built more SE playlists: Godfather III, Triplets of Belville, Tropic Thunder (SAT), Mimic, Sundays on Fire, Thelma and Louise.  Made a DCP of Ramona Slick's song for the Thelma show. I couldn't locate the Curtain Call/Breakdown DCP Alec made when searching for "curtain call", so I went through the transfer history and saw that it had been ingested. Nevertheless when I searched for it it wouldn't appear. So I dragged into the Share folder and didn't receive any message about the file already existing there. Re-ingested. Went to inspect Vicious Lips but it turns out that we were sent a different print inside of cans labeled "Vicious Lips". The print is a movie called The Vampire Lovers. I looked at the first two reels while I watched Vampire Lovers on Dailymotion and it's for sure the same film. Emailed Cristina. Rain continued on this evening so I was not able to change the marquee back on the brunch side. I did...
