Projection Admin 8/13



To do this evening/ was completed: Private event all set for T1 tomorrow morning. (Spiderman)

No Odyssey on 35mm today! Just Citizen Ruth. Lenses have been swapped, ran loops, all nice and bright. Should be a great show. Double checked the playlist. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Tech'd Camp Miasma (the volume of which I brought up in the playlists), Tony, Paw Patrol, End of Oak Street. All set. 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Took a look at Onda Nova and adjusted the lens for 1.66 in T4. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received posters for Ebenezer, more Coyote vs Acme posters, couple more that I've stored and labeled. 

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested Film Feast 25min preshow. Ingested Trees Lounge to T1 &T2. Te

Tech'd Trees Lounge today (which we are waiting on the slide for. I'll build the playlist once we have it.) All the content for the Bound show is ready to get tech'd tomorrow. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Printed out labels for and got Belly out of here. 

Print/video Inspection:

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes

Maintenance/cleaning: Recycling/trash out in 4/6. 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes

Marquee updated?: Added Blind Fury, The Fan and Fargo to the 35mm side of the marquee, added Camp Miasma, End of Oak Street, Tony and Paw Patrol to the front side. 

Posters updated?: Banners adjusted! I couldn't do the one for Tony as it was painfully, dangerously hot and not super stable standing on that ladder, so if it's cooler tonight, I would appreciate that banner getting changed out.

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. NPP Projection Report 11/23 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Checked the Home Alone DCP ahead of the private event this morning, no issues. The party was a bit late seating, so the movie start was a little bit delayed. Overall it ran smoothly. Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Kat will be making a DCP of Guardians of the Galaxy tomorrow for the private event in T1 on Tuesday morning. Chenelle will get the blu-ray sent over here for us to have as backup. I set up the blu-ray player so it's connected to both the monitor and the projector, in case we end up needing to use the blu-ray. I sent Lillian and McKegg an email about this separately. I checked the scope blu-ray projector channel in Theater 1 and it's good to go should we need to screen the blu-ray. I started the DCP of Death Race 2000 on the T1 Mac. NPP Projection Close 9/6

To do this evening/ was completed: Built more SE playlists: Godfather III, Triplets of Belville, Tropic Thunder (SAT), Mimic, Sundays on Fire, Thelma and Louise.  Made a DCP of Ramona Slick's song for the Thelma show. I couldn't locate the Curtain Call/Breakdown DCP Alec made when searching for "curtain call", so I went through the transfer history and saw that it had been ingested. Nevertheless when I searched for it it wouldn't appear. So I dragged into the Share folder and didn't receive any message about the file already existing there. Re-ingested. Went to inspect Vicious Lips but it turns out that we were sent a different print inside of cans labeled "Vicious Lips". The print is a movie called The Vampire Lovers. I looked at the first two reels while I watched Vampire Lovers on Dailymotion and it's for sure the same film. Emailed Cristina. Rain continued on this evening so I was not able to change the marquee back on the brunch side. I did...
