Projection Admin 8/6



To do this evening/ was completed: Alec n I got the matinee 35mm of the Odyssey up and running and handed out a VI device for a lady in seat 403. We've done this for a show before and just try to match it up as best we can. Please snag this after the show! Thank you! Print continues to look great. 

Presentation Issues: No issues. 

Preshow Clips/Playlist: 

I brought the volume up for One Night Only (just not for the babies playlist(!), which I also made and scheduled for Tuesday). 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Wild Inside is all set for this evening's screening, intro, Q&A...and Alec made adjustments to the lamp in T2. Should be a breeze. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): We received Crash, Heat Lightning and Citizen Ruth today. All up in the booth(s).

Feature DCP of Tony has been ingested. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Stir of Echoes (finally) got picked up. 

Print/video Inspection:  I believe Alec might've began inspecting Heat Lightning while I began inspecting Citizen Ruth in T4, but I'd double check. I'm having Will prioritize Citizen Ruth tonight which, so far, looks good with the exception of fair amount of splices. 

In addition to Citizen Ruth, I finished inspecting the rest of First Strike. Full report up, but I tagged Jack in the fourth reel section to make sure the rest of those notes are added. I'm assuming there's not much of a material departure for it from the others. Also tech'd the first reel of this with Cristina! Ran a reel of Beavis and Butthead for her, too. Volume logged for both! 

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes

Maintenance/cleaning: Gave the bottom platter deck a good clean without pressing into it too much. 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Checked the cue sheets!

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. NPP Projection Report 11/23 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Checked the Home Alone DCP ahead of the private event this morning, no issues. The party was a bit late seating, so the movie start was a little bit delayed. Overall it ran smoothly. Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Kat will be making a DCP of Guardians of the Galaxy tomorrow for the private event in T1 on Tuesday morning. Chenelle will get the blu-ray sent over here for us to have as backup. I set up the blu-ray player so it's connected to both the monitor and the projector, in case we end up needing to use the blu-ray. I sent Lillian and McKegg an email about this separately. I checked the scope blu-ray projector channel in Theater 1 and it's good to go should we need to screen the blu-ray. I started the DCP of Death Race 2000 on the T1 Mac. NPP Projection Close 9/6

To do this evening/ was completed: Built more SE playlists: Godfather III, Triplets of Belville, Tropic Thunder (SAT), Mimic, Sundays on Fire, Thelma and Louise.  Made a DCP of Ramona Slick's song for the Thelma show. I couldn't locate the Curtain Call/Breakdown DCP Alec made when searching for "curtain call", so I went through the transfer history and saw that it had been ingested. Nevertheless when I searched for it it wouldn't appear. So I dragged into the Share folder and didn't receive any message about the file already existing there. Re-ingested. Went to inspect Vicious Lips but it turns out that we were sent a different print inside of cans labeled "Vicious Lips". The print is a movie called The Vampire Lovers. I looked at the first two reels while I watched Vampire Lovers on Dailymotion and it's for sure the same film. Emailed Cristina. Rain continued on this evening so I was not able to change the marquee back on the brunch side. I did...
