NPP Projection Open 10/4

To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues: Cleaning lights in T2 stayed up at the top of the first round despite the pre-show starting as scheduled; manually brought these down a few minutes into the show once I noticed they did not go to the pre-show levels

No image on screen in T5 at the start of the feature in the first round; closed and re-opened the dowser which fixed this issue but guests asked that we start the film over (only about 4 minutes had elapsed)

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked the playlist for the Your Mother... event this evening and it is good to go

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: The Monster Squad played without issue this morning

Eternal Evil of Asia screening in theater 1 went smoothly save for a few moments throughout the show when splices previously made threw off the framing by a sprocket or two and partially blocked the subtitles

Gil asked about "one sheets" for the Your Mother... event and I told him we only had two posters available (the event organizers or whoever asked about putting multiple posters up/said that they had sent extras but we only have two and one is on display outside); a standee was sent earlier this week and thrown out...I let Gil know I'd tossed it not thinking we'd need it as these are normally disposed of and it was salvaged from the recycling and used in the lobby

Placed the chairs and mics on stage for the Q&A + spots power is on and the stairs are out for the director/moderator

Print/video Inspection: Put Eternal Evil of Asia back on its shipping reel (heads out) and sealed the canisters with zip ties + projectors have been cleaned

Maintenance/cleaning: Noticed the CP500 screen took longer than normal to load ahead of the 35mm screening...could be worth looking into to see if any wiring is loose or blocked(?); turned the processor off and back on again and after about ten seconds the screen loaded and was functioning normally

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift):

Marquee updated?: Rental letters can be taken down this evening (if/when the rain subsides) and replaced with 35mm and brunch titles

The party was a bit late seating, so the movie start was a little bit delayed. Overall it ran smoothly. To do this evening/ was completed: Big day for teching. Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Kat sent a new QR code clip which I tech'd volume for and added to all the 9/18 and SE playlists we have. The volume (3.8) has been noted on the white board. Projection Admin 9/2

To do this evening/ was completed: Our Network has been updated. Nick from DMS came in to drop off the relay mechanism and take a look at 3/7 before his install visit next week. I showed him in and around the space and he checked in with the WiFi guys. He also liased with Chris whilst scoping out the existing relay system in in 3/7.  It is still somewhat of a wreck in the 46 booth (cables and boxes that, to my knowledge, need to be thrown out, but I asked if they were going to clean up/what needs to be cleared out and I didn't get a proper response in both English and when I asked in Spanish lol so apparently someone might be coming round to finish that up tomorrow. If we don't, we can call Juan and double check. I did tidy things up though, so at least it's not absolute chaos in here.  Once the Network was up and properly running, I tested out theatres 4 and 6 to see if anything needed to be rebooted and lo n behold, only the dimmer panels needed to be rebooted in all the...
