NPP Projection Report 10/20 Admin


To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues: Theater 6 is down. The projector is unable to establish a connection with the server. I tried putting in our back up IMS, but the projector still could not establish a connection. After discussing with Jerry at length we think it's a Christie problem, so I pulled logs from the projector and sent them. Waiting to hear back. DMS is also checking if they can provide us with an emergency replacement for tomorrow.

Preshow Clips/Playlist: McKegg ran through the NewFest playlists for tonight and made a few small adjustments.

There was no babies playlist scheduled in T2 today. I noticed after it started so I adjusted things manually. I feel like this happens almost every week, so let's build this every Tuesday when the film schedule comes out and be sure to schedule it. We do these every week so it should be routine.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: I set 2.00 masking back in T1 for the NewFest program tonight.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): I deleted the studio DCP of Night of the Living Dead. This is live sound cinema in a week, the band has their own file they use with the score removed. We have a DCP of it on Google Drive which I downloaded and ingested.

Wildwood is coming on a hard drive from QubeWire, tracking is here. Scheduled to deliver tomorrow.

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Checked the Home Alone DCP ahead of the private event this morning, no issues. The party was a bit late seating, so the movie start was a little bit delayed. Overall it ran smoothly. Chenelle will get the blu-ray sent over here for us to have as backup. To do this evening/ was completed: Big day for teching. Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Kat sent a new QR code clip which I tech'd volume for and added to all the 9/18 and SE playlists we have. The volume (3.8) has been noted on the white board. Projection Admin 9/2

To do this evening/ was completed: Our Network has been updated. Nick from DMS came in to drop off the relay mechanism and take a look at 3/7 before his install visit next week. I showed him in and around the space and he checked in with the WiFi guys. He also liased with Chris whilst scoping out the existing relay system in in 3/7.  It is still somewhat of a wreck in the 46 booth (cables and boxes that, to my knowledge, need to be thrown out, but I asked if they were going to clean up/what needs to be cleared out and I didn't get a proper response in both English and when I asked in Spanish lol so apparently someone might be coming round to finish that up tomorrow. If we don't, we can call Juan and double check. I did tidy things up though, so at least it's not absolute chaos in here.  Once the Network was up and properly running, I tested out theatres 4 and 6 to see if anything needed to be rebooted and lo n behold, only the dimmer panels needed to be rebooted in all the...
