NPP Projection Report 10/7 Admin


To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: I built a Social Reckoning playlist for tomorrow and scheduled it. didn't build the 10/9 version since we'll be getting the new QR clip tomorrow.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: I set 2.20 masking in all theaters except 3 for Other Mommy. Since I had already saved over the old 2.20 preset for 1.50 (Primetime), I used the 2.00 preset for this. The reason I did not change it in 3 is because one of the shorts in the private event tomorrow night is 2.00. So 2.20 masking will need to be set in T3 on Friday for Other Mommy. 

Ran loops for Attack the Block tonight.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): A Brooklyn Dream is converting to DCP, going directly into the Share folder. Please ingest to the LMS and Theater 1 when it finishes tonight. There is also a still which should be on screen during the band's performance. It's in the downloads folder and it still needs to be converted.

Received Vampire's Kiss, this is down in 1.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): I attached labels to Eternal Evil of Asia, placed it on the cart, and scheduled a pickup for tomorrow.

Print/video Inspection: We had a run through of the content for the private event tomorrow night in T3. This is all set. I built the playlist.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: I decided to change the bulb in T1, it was over warranty hours but just shy of the limit we'd set for it. I had noticed it starting to flicker, though, and with NewFest coming I decided to just change it now.

I printed out more 35mm print info sheets.

Changed a ceiling bulb in T5

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Added Social Reckoning and Brooklyn Dream for tomorrow

The party was a bit late seating, so the movie start was a little bit delayed. Overall it ran smoothly. Chenelle will get the blu-ray sent over here for us to have as backup. I set up the blu-ray player so it's connected to both the monitor and the projector, in case we end up needing to use the blu-ray. I sent Lillian and McKegg an email about this separately. I checked the scope blu-ray projector channel in Theater 1 and it's good to go should we need to screen the blu-ray. I started the DCP of Death Race 2000 on the T1 Mac. To do this evening/ was completed: Big day for teching. Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Kat sent a new QR code clip which I tech'd volume for and added to all the 9/18 and SE playlists we have. The volume (3.8) has been noted on the white board. Projection Admin 9/2

To do this evening/ was completed: Our Network has been updated. Nick from DMS came in to drop off the relay mechanism and take a look at 3/7 before his install visit next week. I showed him in and around the space and he checked in with the WiFi guys. He also liased with Chris whilst scoping out the existing relay system in in 3/7.  It is still somewhat of a wreck in the 46 booth (cables and boxes that, to my knowledge, need to be thrown out, but I asked if they were going to clean up/what needs to be cleared out and I didn't get a proper response in both English and when I asked in Spanish lol so apparently someone might be coming round to finish that up tomorrow. If we don't, we can call Juan and double check. I did tidy things up though, so at least it's not absolute chaos in here.  Once the Network was up and properly running, I tested out theatres 4 and 6 to see if anything needed to be rebooted and lo n behold, only the dimmer panels needed to be rebooted in all the...
