NPP Projection Report 10/8 Close


To do this evening/ was completed: Reminder that masking needs to be set in Theater 3 tomorrow for Other Mommy. It is 2.20:1 Use the 2.00 preset which is buttons 1 and 3 pressed simultaneously on the motor. I already made a 2.20 cue on the T3 Dolby server to activate that preset, so those buttons need to be set to the proper position.

Also Heart of the Beast and Coyote vs. Acme letters and posters need to come down. Other Mommy and Social Reckoning letters need to go up and posters hung or updated to now showing.

Also the marquee rental on the 35mm side should come down. I left all the 35mm letters out on the bench in 3/7.

Don't forget to tech The Others.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Scheduled all Other Mommy and Social Reckoning shows

Added the new QR clips to all 10/9 playlists.

Built and scheduled a Baby Digger playlist for Tuesday

NewFest sent their land acknowledgement and anti-piracy clips so I downloaded and ingested them.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Both the events tonight went well overall. The slide for the Q&A for the private event in T3 (Brooklyn SciFi) didn't have a pause cue--I was in there when it came up and turned the spots on, but went right to Theater 1 since that Q&A was wrapping--so the mic was cut off by the end of show pack. Raekwon radioed me and I got the mic and slide back. No issues to speak of with A Brooklyn Dream

Ordering/Receiving (content): Devil and the Deep was not delivered.

Chenelle handed off the bluray of Edward Scissorhands for the T5 private on the morning of the 15th. This is converting down in T1, going directly into the Share folder.

To do this evening/ was completed: Big day for teching. Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Kat sent a new QR code clip which I tech'd volume for and added to all the 9/18 and SE playlists we have. The volume (3.8) has been noted on the white board. Projection Admin 9/2

To do this evening/ was completed: Our Network has been updated. Nick from DMS came in to drop off the relay mechanism and take a look at 3/7 before his install visit next week. I showed him in and around the space and he checked in with the WiFi guys. He also liased with Chris whilst scoping out the existing relay system in in 3/7.  It is still somewhat of a wreck in the 46 booth (cables and boxes that, to my knowledge, need to be thrown out, but I asked if they were going to clean up/what needs to be cleared out and I didn't get a proper response in both English and when I asked in Spanish lol so apparently someone might be coming round to finish that up tomorrow. If we don't, we can call Juan and double check. I did tidy things up though, so at least it's not absolute chaos in here.  Once the Network was up and properly running, I tested out theatres 4 and 6 to see if anything needed to be rebooted and lo n behold, only the dimmer panels needed to be rebooted in all the...
