Projection Admin 10/14



To do this evening/ was completed: Staff Screenings are out on 7shifts, blocked on the calendar and scheduled on the LMS. The keys for You Can See Everything and Fjord will open tomorrow. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Please build the playlists for Fjord this evening. Thank you!

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Ran through and adjusted the playlist a little bit volume/masking wise for Edie Arnold, the hosts of which have been setting up a standee in Trees. Four wireless mics for this, and four chairs. 

Devilman is ready for tonight (FYI I also adjusted this since the opening text for both episodes are 1.85, not 1.33, but I added simple masking cues to make everything look more polished for when the masking should change for each one. 

 The DCP of Edward Scissorhands is almost done ingesting to the LMS for the private event tomorrow. Please build a playlist for this once it's done. The private event is at 10:30, so preshow starts a half hour before. Thanks! 

In addition to this, I started DCPing The Tiger Rising for Jess' private event in a few weeks (transcoding in T1). Made sure this wasn't subbed/dubbed. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received a TON of posters, which I can sort through tomorrow morning. 

Ordering/Receiving (content): Downloading The Spook Who Sat to the Share folder right now (individual files since the comp needs to update with the Signiant app..) I've instructed Jack to keep downloading this tonight. 

Ingesting Clayface feature DCPs
Ingested It Follows, American Werewolf in London, Klara and the Sun feature DCPs.
Ingested the 5min preshow for Reeks Like Teen Spirit and added it to the Edie Arnold playlist for tonight. 
Ingested  new KGO V2 preshow. I will be looking at this tomorrow morning. 

Received and ingested holding/audience award slides for Newfest. Followed up with Rachel/Galen and asked that they check on the DCP of Born 2 Feel for us. We're still waiting on a new DCP with better subs. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Little Shop of Horrors and Urgh got picked up this morning! 
In addition to those, I scheduled a Ground pickup with the label we were given via NBC for Devil, which will be getting picked up tomorrow. Also getting picked up tomorrow via Sony is Attack the Block. 

Print/video Inspection: Scooby/Wishmaster can get looked at the next few days. 

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Braved the crawl space in T5 with my almost post-sinus infection to change the lamp since it reached capacity. Cleaned the projector, too. 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Please fill out the rest of the cue sheets tonight (I will do what does not get done tonight, tomorrow).

To do this evening/ was completed: Big day for teching. Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Kat sent a new QR code clip which I tech'd volume for and added to all the 9/18 and SE playlists we have. The volume (3.8) has been noted on the white board. Projection Admin 9/2

To do this evening/ was completed: Our Network has been updated. Nick from DMS came in to drop off the relay mechanism and take a look at 3/7 before his install visit next week. I showed him in and around the space and he checked in with the WiFi guys. He also liased with Chris whilst scoping out the existing relay system in in 3/7.  It is still somewhat of a wreck in the 46 booth (cables and boxes that, to my knowledge, need to be thrown out, but I asked if they were going to clean up/what needs to be cleared out and I didn't get a proper response in both English and when I asked in Spanish lol so apparently someone might be coming round to finish that up tomorrow. If we don't, we can call Juan and double check. I did tidy things up though, so at least it's not absolute chaos in here.  Once the Network was up and properly running, I tested out theatres 4 and 6 to see if anything needed to be rebooted and lo n behold, only the dimmer panels needed to be rebooted in all the...
