Projection Admin 10/21



To do this evening/ was completed: Staff screenings are out o 7shifts, blocked on the calendar and scheduled on the LMS. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built playlists for Wildwood, Klara and the Sun. Finished NF weekend shows. 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Setup for both NF events tonight, which should be a breeze. Spotify playlist is all set in T6 on the PC. Same as usual - nonsync. Keep at 3.5. Went over both playlists with Desmond and made a few adjustments so that everything's a little smoother. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): We received new preshow content for New Fest, which I added to the playlists. 
Received Wildwood DCP via post. Ingested. 
Received content for the private event on 10/26. I am DCPing this in 4/6. Please ingest once done. 
Continued with Dark Room shorts. We only have one more to go, so once the private event DCP is done transcoding, you can pop that one in and DCP it (Bug Diner). I ingested Sherbert film and intro. 
Ingested missing preshow content for Klara/Wildwood

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Deleted content we no longer need. 

Print/video Inspection:  Got eyes on the new preshow to make sure all was correct and reported back to Rachel/Galen, but Desmond and I checked it out too. 

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: DMS came in this morning to help us out in T6. It's back up and running now. We're getting our old IMS refurbished since it's a pretty simple OS issue, but for now were fine. 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes. Added info for Wildwood and finished up the sheets with it.

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Checked the Home Alone DCP ahead of the private event this morning, no issues. The party was a bit late seating, so the movie start was a little bit delayed. Overall it ran smoothly. Chenelle will get the blu-ray sent over here for us to have as backup. I set up the blu-ray player so it's connected to both the monitor and the projector, in case we end up needing to use the blu-ray. I sent Lillian and McKegg an email about this separately. To do this evening/ was completed: Big day for teching. Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Kat sent a new QR code clip which I tech'd volume for and added to all the 9/18 and SE playlists we have. The volume (3.8) has been noted on the white board. Projection Admin 9/2

To do this evening/ was completed: Our Network has been updated. Nick from DMS came in to drop off the relay mechanism and take a look at 3/7 before his install visit next week. I showed him in and around the space and he checked in with the WiFi guys. He also liased with Chris whilst scoping out the existing relay system in in 3/7.  It is still somewhat of a wreck in the 46 booth (cables and boxes that, to my knowledge, need to be thrown out, but I asked if they were going to clean up/what needs to be cleared out and I didn't get a proper response in both English and when I asked in Spanish lol so apparently someone might be coming round to finish that up tomorrow. If we don't, we can call Juan and double check. I did tidy things up though, so at least it's not absolute chaos in here.  Once the Network was up and properly running, I tested out theatres 4 and 6 to see if anything needed to be rebooted and lo n behold, only the dimmer panels needed to be rebooted in all the...
