Projection Report 11/21 Close

Presentation Issues: There were no presentation issues.

Preshow Clips/Playlist:
*Built a "lights up" Lighthouse playlist for the weekend to accommodate tight turnaround times. It is named A2_LTSUP_Lighthouse112219  The times to use this playlist are written on the whiteboard, and was emailed out to everyone by Ryan.
*Finished building the vimeo playlist with all cues and interstitials. Alec, you will need to manually advance/maybe pause the second half of this show between every element.
*Made playlists for Krisha, Celebration, Christmas Vacation

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up:
*Depeche Mode and the Video DJ in high-res afterwards all went very smoothly. Also made me feel pretty old.
*For the Vimeo NSF Awards event, I am assuming that we are bringing in the portable PA speakers (and stands) that live in the mezz closet and we will run all wired mics/mini mixer to those?

Alec, do you want to look over the event memo tomorrow and through the playlist? While this certainly won't be difficult for you, it will require all your attention throughout. Would you like some projection support through this event? I could probably come by for a couple of hours on Sat morning. Also, when comparing the event memo to the playlist, keep in mind that the macro names are different at Williamsburg, and they are using Williamsburg terms, so, for instance "lights mid" throughout the live commentary is equivalent to our "lights up".
**Also, "End of Tunnel" is 1.33. Tomorrow is the day to figure out that weird masking issue that Alec reported of it not even going past 1.78 anymore

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content):
I did NOT ingest the new TMS keys tonight.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection:
*Inspected the entire NSFAwards Vimeo playlist, ran all cues and played all shorts all the way through. I think 3.0 is an ok volume for the live commentary portion of the program. The volume will have to be manually turned down from the booth if they think that it is too loud during the event.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning:
I took Knives Out, Nightmare on Elm St, and Depeche Mode off the server in the interest of freeing up some space (only got us down to 87%). After Vimeo on Saturday morning, we can put these back on. Like-wise let's hold off on ingesting Queen and Krisha. I also took the features out of the playlists because when we took Depeche Mode off after building the playlist, I found I had to delete it and reattach it to the playlist after I re-ingested it.

A suggested ingest schedule over the weekend could be:
Saturday (after deleting all the shorts) ingest Elm St
Sunday (after deleting Hala) ingest Krisha
Monday night (after deleting Elm St) ingest Knives & Queen/Slim
-It's nice to have everything on but I feel we should be a little more thoughtful about it when we are pushing the space on our server and I have been noticing TMS being more sluggish and needing reboots more often. We will still have everything on even before we have live keys for them.
(Pre-building the playlists as soon as we have Kris' list and the content, is still a great idea, however)

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift):
*Finished the cue sheet review meeting with Ryan. The MOD has requested that we list our preshow start time at when they would expect the doors to open. So, if we are doing the 4 minute welcome bumper at the start of each day, we should list the pre-show start time at 5 minutes earlier than our actual movie playlist starts. I have already done this for tomorrow. We haven't scheduled out the first round 5 min bumper beyond friday yet, when we do, please be sure to update the cue sheets accordingly.
