NPP Projection Report 12/12 Close, Alec


Presentation Issues: No issues.

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built a new Jumanji playlist for the weekend including the Quiet Place 2 teaser.

-Grabbed Slide_NPP_Logo_Update_030619 from EVO and ingested it to TMS.

Trailer Updates: Pulled two Star Wars trailers from TrailMix. One of these is the scope version of the one we've been playing (TLR-3-Alt, 2.5 minutes), the other is an alternate version of the 4th trailer (only one minute). I put the scope version of TLR_3_Alt in our scope trailer packs and removed the buffer that made up for the shorter trailer. I left the shorter version in the Jumanji trailer pack for this weekend only since we have an extra trailer in those shows.

Special Events/ AV set up:

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordered 1917 posters.

-We also got another Little Women trailer with the Quiet Place teaser, it's only a minute long so I think we should stick with the one we have.

Ordering/Receiving (content): Checked the White Christmas drive in TMS, it mounts OK.

Marquee updated?: Took down Beautiful Day... from the front and replaced Found Footage Fest on the north side and put up the text for tomorrow's marquee rental. Also, not to be that guy but it's Jumanji: The Next Level and not Jumanji: The Next Chapter, I fixed it on the marquee.

Posters updated?: Took down our poster for Beautiful Day. We don't have another relevant coming soon poster that's not already hanging, so I put a second Star Wars up in the lobby (the other one is out front) and moved Little Women outside. Hopefully our 1917 posters will be here soon and we can replace the double.

Cleaning lights on for the night?: Yes

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
