NPP Projection Report 12/3 Close


To do this evening/ was completed: After restarting the server in TH7, the blu-ray connection was working normally again. I also hooked up the blu-ray player for 7 to the monitor in the booth so we can cue the movie up, bring lights up at credits, and dowse the projector before the blu-ray logos/menu appear on screen from inside the booth.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist:

Trailer Updates: Wrote Kat about the Fleshtone trailer, which is still not on Google Drive. Hopefully we can get it before the Malice screening.

Removed the Red Rocket trailer from all the playlists it was in.

Special Events/ AV set up: The Last Boy Scout 35mm screening and podcast recording went smoothly! I’ve saved the recordings to my computer and will isolate the audio to send to the hosts. The print is packed up and ready for return.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested keys for Nightmare Alley (they activate Wednesday at midnight) and The French Dispatch.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Cleared the Red Rocket show playlist and feature from all servers.

Print/video Inspection:

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes, added tracking for Eyes Wide Shut, Desperately Seeking Susan, and From Beyond prints. Eyes Wide Shut is coming on Wednesday (so is Fun which I already had the tracking for), the other two are coming on Friday.

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Updated timing for Peanuts Movie on Thursday.

Marquee updated?:

Posters updated?: Put up a Matrix Resurrections poster where Red Rocket was.

Cleaning lights on for the night?: Yes

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
