NPP Projection Report 1/26 Open/Event


To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built preshow playlists for Speed Racer with and without intro and scheduled them. Also updated Happy Feet and Chicago playlists and scheduled those as well.

Ingested the new forecast, Shattered and Kaguya trailers, and Jackass preshow. Added the forecast to all of the coming week’s first run and event playlists.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: The private 35mm screening of Summer of Soul went well, the print is packed up and ready to return to Searchlight. I recorded the Q&A also in case anyone wants it.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received a new trail mix drive, ingested trailers for Death on the Nile, Marry Me, X, The Lost City, Everything Everywhere All At Once, new trailer for Morbius, Ambulance, Sonic 2, Fantastic Beasts 3, The Northman, The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, and Top Gun: Maverick should we need them.

Ordering/Receiving (content):

Outgoing/Shipping (content): The From Beyond print was picked up.

Print/video Inspection: Inspected the Speed Racer print, it’s in excellent condition.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes, added some info for Drive My Car and upcoming event DCPs.

Updated deliveries for Crouching Tiger print (coming Friday) and the Starman print (coming Tuesday 2/1)

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes, filled in timing for Happy Feet and Chicago, and most of timing for Speed Racer shows, only missing the start credits time for this one which I’ll grab during the tech or if I can find the movie streaming online.

Posters updated?:

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
