NPP Projection 6/10



To do this evening/ was completed: Teched Flirting Scholar and Double Team prints with Cristina, volumes have been logged. Also teched College Boys Live in T3 and Wallace and Gromit in T4. Both films look and sound great. Ingested Bound and Lightyear to TMS--couldn't locally ingest Bound. 

Started inspecting Jade.

Presentation Issues: Wasn't able to bring down the lights in T3 or T7 before the theater opened so I had to reset the lighting panels. Afterward I went to check the other auditoriums and T4 and T5 were experiencing the same problem. Reset the panels and we were good to go.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
