NPP Projection Report 8/3 Admin
To do this evening/ was completed:
Presentation Issues:
Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built/scheduled a playlist for the private event on Tuesday.
Trailer Updates:
Special Events/ AV set up: Set up STB for tonight. Set the levels for the mics, and I placed the smaller mic holders on three stands under the curtain. Everything is connected and just needs to be pulled out/turned on.
Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):
Ordering/Receiving (content): The Fifth Element print arrived, brought it to booth 1 for inspection tonight.
Cristina brought over the drive with the Off the Charts DCP on it. Ingested it to Theater 3.
Outgoing/Shipping (content):
Print/video Inspection: Checked the White of the Eye blu-ray for volume. Wrote down the steps for starting it in-sync with the playlist, I put the Mediablock HDMI CPL in the playlist so the input switch on the projector will be automated. I noticed when running through the playlist that if the HDMI CPL is part of a playlist, when this clip starts the projector will switch the input to HDMI, without having to switch channels. Projecting the blu-ray on this channel doesn’t fit the masking perfectly (probably because is uses the 1.85 DCP ILS file) so we should still switch to the blu-ray channel.

We got an inspection form from Janus to fill out for Fire Walk With Me and send back before the screening. I printed it out and left it in booth 1 for when the print comes on Monday.
Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Added tracking for Fire Walk With Me, arriving on Monday, and Tiger Cage, delivery estimate pending.
Maintenance/cleaning: Heard back from DMS, they said the ballast likely needs to be replaced on the projector in Theater 2. They are able to order a manufacturer refurbished one, the new are out of stock. The light lock board for Theater 1 is completely out of stock (new, used, and refurbished), though they might be able to spare one from one of their projectors. We’ll need something by the time the lamp needs to be changed. New bulbs should be shipping tomorrow.
Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Filled in cues for the private White of the Eye screening on Tuesday.
Marquee updated?:
Posters updated?:
Cleaning lights on for the night?:
Projection cart by entrance?:
Additional Notes: McKegg came in for training at 4, I showed him around all the booths and introduced him to the TMS and IMS controls. Quickly covered playlist building and scheduling, projector touch panels, and shutdown automation, as well.
