Projection Admin 9/13



To do this evening/ was completed: Hey team, Kim from NewFest sent over the master template we'll be using to keep track of content. I requested editing access for all of us since we'll all have a hand in downloading and converting. As per her note for the feature Chestnut, I downloaded this to the desktop today since the link expires tomorrow. It is still downloading, but please mark it on the spreadsheet once it's finished. Flagged Kim about a faulty link for one of the features Anhell69. Apparently the server they're using is currently down. She'll look into it. 

Had our cinema meeting. All content is in. 
We're looking good for tomorrow morning (Range Life). We'll have enough time to check out the slides/washes/spots with Alex tomorrow and liase with his crew to make sure they feel comfortable in the theatre. 

Friendly reminder - please be sure to jot down in the blog where you're transcoding files to. This saves time. One more note: when it comes to organizing DCPs for ingest, please make sure they're not in multiple folders as the server will not be able to find the DCPs. 

I finished transcoding the rest of the Industrial Musical files and ingested them directly to T1. 

The feature of Pavement: Range Life had yet to be ingested. The slide was ingested last night by accident. Can be tricky when multiple files have similar names for a single event, but just double check the content type in the CPL beforehand. Ingested both the hour long preshow content and feature to T1 this morning.

Uploaded new KDMs for TMNT, Oppenheimer, Haunting in Venice, Barbie, Passages, Talk To Me

Special Events/ AV set up: Mixer is all set in T4 for this evening's 35, Fear of a Black Hat. 

Starting ripping the BluRay of Krull for the 9/21 private. (ripping in T1). Throw this into Handbrake if you get the chance! Thanks!

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Kat sent over the 9/22 preshow content early since she'll be away. We can start download what's live. 
Accidentally got sent Godzilla 1998, but Alec let Matthew know. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Tech'd all of the Industrial Musicals with Cristina and we took a look at both slides for Range Life, including the preshow and the feature. 

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Updated the doc with our most recent titles. Received 

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Barbie (round 1 in T2) was a little off with preshow time. Adjusted this. Added info for The Dark Knight and tomorrow's evening event. I filled out the sheets through Monday (sans prince of darkness..need to find the offset)

Marquee updated?:Will is adding the title for Range Life and I'l take it down and add A Sigh of Origin tomorrow before we open so we can keep our 35mm titles up on the other side.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
