NPP Projection Close 1/24

To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues: One of the ceiling/cleaning lights began flickering between rounds in theater 2 this evening. I experimented with bringing the lights to their pre-show level, then all the way down, to try and stop this, but the flickering persisted. After a few minutes it stopped flickering altogether so I went through the process of seeing how it responded to other light levels again, though, it seemed to have remedied itself. I will be keeping an eye on this through the next two rounds. Alec is aware of it and reached out to Matthew after we spoke on the phone. One of the other lights in this auditorium will not turn on and needs to be replaced. The photo below indicates which of these is experiencing issues:

Update: the light began flickering again during the feature. I searched the theater with a few MODs to try to find the ladder big enough to reach the ceiling but could not. I called Juan to ask about the ladder and he said it would take more time than the flip between rounds would allow for us to properly set up and secure the ladder and remove the light fixture. I touched base with Ashley to share this information and she communicated it to the rest of the MODs. Matthew gave permission to cancel the final round (I manually played the shutdown in theater 2 and deleted the one previously scheduled)

Special Events/ AV set up: Live Wire screening/Cristina's intro went very smoothly (the print looked and sounded great but needed to be turned up to its maximum volume since 8.5 was a bit too low with a full crowd) + cleaned both projectors and re-inspected the print after the screening

Sucker Deni Chen finished downloading and its DCP file was unzipped to the DCPII drive along with the rest of the NSF24 shorts content

Began converting Airplane! to DCP in theater 1 (the DCPIII drive is connected to this desktop and can be used to transfer the DCP file to theater 6 once it is finished)

Keys for Raging Bull and Magnificent Obsession were delivered at midnight and keys ending 2/2 for The Iron Claw and American Fiction were delivered and ingested + keys ending 3/1 were delivered for Origin

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Live Wire was re-inspected and can be packaged and readied for return shipment tomorrow

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Noticed a ceiling fixture was out in theater 1 as I was setting up for the screening of Live Wire which, again, we will need the proper ladder to reach and fix/replace

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Double checked (had to make an adjustment to the final round in theater 6 as the formula was throwing off the accuracy of the credit offset times for Origin)

Additional Notes: I tried connecting one of the new headsets/earpieces Alec ordered to the walkie but the prongs are too widely spaced to properly fit the walkie's input; may need to return or re-order
