Special Events/ AV set up: Read through the weekly update and took note of events I'll be running this upcoming week

Paris, Texas screening in theater 1 needed a slight volume adjustment (the dialogue was very quiet) but looked gorgeous and played well to a sold out crowd

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): The Sweet East finished downloading and was unzipped; had to transfer it to the Preshows & Trailers drive from the desktop since there was too little space remaining on the DCPII drive (update: I was unable to read the Preshow & Trailers drive from the TMS and there is still a file transferring to DCPIII -- not sure why this feature file has so many .mxf elements but that seems like it could be causing some issues)

Copied the Wild Parrots feature zip file to the DCPIII drive in booth 1 (it is currently connected to the desktop in 4/6)

Downloaded and uploaded keys for The Tales of Hoffman

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Superbad needs a house lights UP cue for the private screening tomorrow -- please get eyes on this in the morning if possible

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Double checked times for tomorrow against the TMS and initialed 

Marquee updated?: Took down Mean Girls, Wonka, The Boy and the Heron, and The Iron Claw and added letters for Bob Marley: One Love and Madame Web

Posters updated?: Added "now showing" snipes above posters for Bob Marley: One Love and Madame Web (have been unable to take down posters for Poor Things and The Iron Claw as the bikes chained to the rack outside make it rather difficult to -- especially during the evening -- and since there seems to be one bike in particular that is rusting away there taking up space)

Cleaning lights on for the night?: Yes

Projection cart by entrance?: Yes

Additional Notes: First run titles have been updated on the whiteboard above the desktop in 4/6

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. SE screenings went smoothly. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state.
