Projection Admin 9/05

To do this evening/ was completed:  Saturday Night will be available for ingested this evening. Title came in, but it's not in the vault yet, so I'd give it a few hours. This is a first run title for October.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Tech'd Beetlejuice 2, The Front Room, and His Three Daughters

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Set up the wireless mic receiver, yamaha mixer, spotlight board and Aja in T1 this morning for Spoons tonight. Everything has been tested - laptop, microphones and spotlight board are all set for the show, just turn on the powerstrip, press each power button for the mics on the receiver, double check to make sure everything's alive and well, then you're golden. There's a usb-c adapter on top of the receiver for the hosts since I believe that's what they typically use.

Since it's relatively unclear as to whether or not the BluRay of Orphan (2000) (for an upcoming private event) will have an AD track, which they definitely need, I found that on Amazon you can stream or download (we will download) it with an AD track and subtitles. I will of course test this before the event, but this should do the trick, I think. Spoke to Chenelle about this today.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received posters for Piece by Piece

Ordering/Receiving (content): ***So I think I figured out why the prores file for Godfathers of Hardcore failed to download because the "site wasn't available" response means that the actual file isn't available or is located elsewhere, and it looks like the date of its upload was yesterday, so it probably wasn't fully available for download yet when he sent it. It seems to be downloading without issue now. We can get DCPing this tonight. Update: still not working and no idea why. I contacted Ian so he can send us a drive like we spoke about.

***As for Amadeus, I continued downloading the rest of the files and we're almost there! just a few more to ingested once this last video file finishes up (the last files will be super quick), then we ingest it with Cat Video Fest as they're both on the DCPIII drive in T1.

We received a print from Harry. I believe it might be House by the Cemetery...it is not labeled and it's on cores.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: One Eye'd Jacks can get re-inspected. I can send it out tomorrow morning!

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: A box for Alec came in! In 4/6.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes

Marquee updated?: Big marquee/poster change today - took down a few titles and added The Front Room, Beetlejuice 2. It Ends With Us is still up on the marquee as we have showings today, but I will take it down tomorrow, along with its poster.
* There is a space on the left for His Three Daughters at the top of the marquee, to put up tomorrow, then we can rearrange the titles a bit. I did some rearranging today.
*Added Cry Baby and House by the Cemetery to the 35mm side.

Posters updated?: Yes! Took down the four previous titles on the right side, added Beetlejuice and The Front Room with Now Showing banners, below I added A Different Man and My Old Ass with Coming Soon banners. On the left side of the marquee, all we had to take down was Trap, so I added the new Transformers One poster with a Coming Soon banner.

* Posters updated in the lobby. Added Wild Robot beneath Coming Soon and added Now Showing to Beetlejuice

I organized the trivia posters section (top right and middle right squares) since we changed out a lot today - wrote on the laminated sheet what's in the two sections.

Cleaning lights on for the night?:

Projection cart by entrance?:
