NPP Projection Close 10/11

To do this evening/ was completed: NewFest is underway and, save for the Q&A going over time this evening, everything so far is running smoothly

Presentation Issues: Going to refer to Lillian's blog regarding the extent of the TMS/IMS/cue sheets confusion earlier today which, thankfully, has been resolved and not had any continued effect on playback

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Connected and tested the mic at Trees by the NewFest step and repeat and left it in place for future use this week (the bench panel is powered off + the key is back in the A/V closet bin)

There were intros for Gondola and Hidden Flora in theaters 3 and 4, respectively, and a Q&A following the latter in 4 (the mic in 3 was placed beneath the curtain for the time being and the stand is off to the side for tomorrow's event -- gear in 4 was put back in the A/V bin and additional XLRs and mics were brought back to the 4/6 booth) 

All chairs used for the Q&A have been returned to storage in the hallway next to theater 1

Ordering/Receiving (content): The Talented Mr. Ripley keys were delivered and ingested to the TMS

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Double checked and made all necessary adjustments to tomorrow and Sunday's cues/cross referenced the TMS and initialed for confirmation (note: looking ahead to Monday, there seems to be some significant overlap in theater 3 between its second round and the NewFest event that follows it...could use another set of eyes on this)

Marquee updated?:

Posters updated?: Removed Anora and We Live in Time from the lobby and replaced them with NewFest posters beneath "now showing" snipes

Cleaning lights on for the night?: Yes

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
