Projection Admin 10/23

To do this evening/ was completed: At your next convenience, please take a moment to look at the email I sent out about coverage for Alec (just this weekend!). I put in 4 different options for us to chose from. Again, I really appreciate y'all for helping us keep a tight ship.

Went over the lights in T2 with Vlad, Juan, and another gentleman who I cannot remember the name of (sorry). We ran a few tests. I double checked all light settings, independently, as well as some playlists in both T2 and T1 just to be sure. Everything is back to normal.

We had our cinema meeting this morning and we're doing good on content. We have to work with DMS on a few things, but we'll keep y'all in the loop and hopefully we'll have a proper update on Screenwriter soon.

To answer McKegg's blog in regard to the private event in T7 (The Orphan, 10/29), we got that squared away awhile ago (we tested special captioning for it and got it off Amazon), so we should be all set but will of course do another few tests before the show! Thanks for checking in, McKegg.

Staff screenings have been emailed out, playlists are built and scheduled. All shows have been blocked on the calendar.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: We still have to build some special events playlists. Saw that he preshow for KGO is ready, so I have that downloading. We still need the DCP for Scream and we're teching content this week. Nosferatu and KGO show can get built. I'll take a look at the double feature show tomorrow.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Got Gil and Jess setup in T3 for laptop connection this morning. Microphone returned to 4/6.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received, stored and labeled the Mufasa poster in 3/7.

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested Nosferatu

Ingested all the special preshow content for the Scream show. I downloaded, DCP'd and ingested the Gale Weathers intro.

Received the print for Sundays on Fire

Liat from Lionsgate notified us that New Moon is getting sent out ASAP and should arrive soon. Definitely before the screening....

Ingested KDM for Wild Robot, Conclave, and reached for an eta on the key delivery for 5000 Fingers of Dr. T

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Emailed David from Sony so we can schedule a pickup time for Christine
Made and printed out labels for The Devil's Backbone, which is going back to the Academy and should be getting picked up today! It's on the cart.

Print/video Inspection: Few prints can get inspected! Jack gets his pick tonight, but the closest show we've received that has yet to be inspected is  Village of the Damned and SOF.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Pulled the detailed report of the TMS for DMS to look over.

Caught on up on new emails from Chenelle for private events.

Right before first round in T2, I noticed the shows for T2 were off the timeline and that we briefly lost connection to the IMB. I turned the PC back on so I could eventually get the server up, reseated the board and power-cycled the projector. Got everything back up and running pretty quickly. Let me know if things look funky.

This might be excessive, but considering how much we've all had a hand in taking the DJ key home or simply just misplacing it, I made multiple copies. There's technically 5 of them now. Here's where they are: one (OG) key is in the Trees bin, one in the 4/6 booth (wooden bowl), one in the remote control holder behind the bar, one emergency spare taped to the bottom of the AV box in Trees. I also now have one on my personal keychain. This should hopefully cover us until the end of time.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes.

Marquee updated?: Added new brunch titles: 5000 Fingers of Dr. T and Kevin Geeks Out

Also added to the 35m side: American Movie, Village of the Damned, moved The Ring up to the top

I organized and set aside the first run letters that need to go up tomorrow, just to save us an extra step.

Posters updated?:

Cleaning lights on for the night?:
