Projection Admin 12/26



To do this evening/ was completed: FYI - Nosferatu sounds good in T1 and T2 at 5.8, as opposed to 5.5. It's not a huge difference, but maybe listen in tonight to give a second opinion. I'd appreciate it! 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Checked the Nosferatu playlists and packs to make sure everything would execute just fine. No issues. Like Alec, I also think that's strange, but Screenwriter has certainly been throwing a few wrenches into the mix recently and we're still in the early stages of understanding its full functionality, but I think the system in T1 just got confused and paused itself since, (and I know this is a different theatre, but) the staff screening in T2 this morning was perfectly fine, despite not having the pack updated. 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: One HI device taken out and safely put back. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Setting myself a reminder here - keys for Hook and The Apartment open up tomorrow morning. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection:

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Updated the Splashtop Streamer app by entering in our new login info and refreshing the business app that we access for remote work. Feel free to use now. 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Updated round 1 for Moana 2 in T6 today. Time was off on the sheet, but correct on the TMS. 

Marquee updated?: I know it's not the ideal thing to do when it's cold outside, but let's continue to keep an eye on the posters and marquee. Anora and A Real Pain should have come down yesterday (marquee and posters) and the Gladiator II poster was still up. I know Christmas Day can be busy, but we still need to pay attention to the details - don't want to turn anyone away. 
Re: Jack's blog - I got the key bit out of the poster keyhole. Pulled out pretty easily, no damage or anything like that. 

Added three new coming soon banners and posters to the outside. Tomorrow morning, I'll swap Dogman with Paddington tomorrow since Pad is outside and Dogman is in the lobby, but it's perfectly fine for now.

Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state.
