To do this evening/ was completed: Hey everyone! Staff screenings have been emailed out, playlists are built and scheduled on the LMS. Screenings have also been blocked on the calendar. - L

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: 
Built the following playlists: Conclave, Becoming Led Zeppelin, Anora, A Real Pain. 
Downloaded and ingested the following content: Anora preshow, Real Pain preshow, Space 10min preshow. Transferred Gazer to T3 and built a screener playlist for Friday morning.  - L

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Checked the cable connection in Trees for the Oscars. We're all good with this. It wasn't working at first but I replaced the ethernet cable behind the the A/V bench and that sorted it.

Soundtrack and Night is Short have both been triple checked and are ready to go for tonight. - L

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): We can hold off on downloading and converting the file of [REC] that Desmond sent as we'll be getting a blu-ray for this.

Whilst we received the keys for The Substance after reaching out to Deluxe, we have yet to receive the DCP. Jeffrey and Matthew are on it. UPDATE: we just got the ingest letter for The Substance! Please give it an hour or two before checking the server. Might take a minute for it to actually pop up. Please reupload the keys once the DCP is ingested. Thank you! - L 

Ingested Mickey 17. I have downloaded and ingested the Space 10 min preshow for Mickey 17, but Kat is currently uploading the other preshow files for it, and we can wait a little longer before making the playlist as they still need to tech them. - L 

The keys for About a Boy will arrive later this evening! Please ingest. - L

I will download You Can Count on Me tonight and send it over for DCP conversion

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Cleared content off of T1, T3, and T4 servers as they were getting full.

Maintenance/cleaning: During preshow for Captain America (not before, not after) in T1, the lamp randomly turned off. I turned it back on and it was fine. No warnings or issues since, not there were any before, but the christie panel shows a healthy ecosystem. Strange! We can pull logs. Note: I did check the playlist in both the LMS and IMS and found no error(s). - L

I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state.
