NPP Projection Close 4/24

To do this evening/ was completed: Was kept busy throughout the evening due to the technical issues plaguing theater 3 mentioned in Alec and Lillian's blog needing continuous attention, a private event in theater 7, and a 35mm film screening in theater 1 intro'd by Cristina

Presentation Issues: Continued to bring the lights in theater 3 up and down throughout the evening with the paper clip when necessary...hopefully this can be fixed sometime tomorrow but until then...

Special Events/ AV set up: Ninja 3: The Domination screening in theater 1 went smoothly and the print was brought downstairs after the show for it to be picked up tomorrow (cleaned the projectors following the show and closed the exhaust ports)

WALL-E private event in theater 7 was running smoothly up until the hosts requested the feature be delayed ten minutes since their guests were arriving too slowly...rewinding the show playlist threw the cues off and the film started in the wrong lens format/masking with the house lights still up...corrected this manually and got the feature going again normally

Put the NBA coverage on at Trees Lounge

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Close 5/2

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Added a feature volume cue to the pre-show playlist for Postcards from the Edge Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Finished converting all NoBudge45 shorts to DCP Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Fantastic 4 posters were delivered in addition to teaser posters for The Smashing Machine + a box containing two Lilo & Stitch standees was dropped off and can likely be given away at trivia/to whoever wants a life size Stitch in their home and/or eventually thrown away Ordering/Receiving (content): The Bitter Tears of Petra Von Kant print was delivered and brought up to booth 1 this afternoon + downloaded both slides for this film's pre-show and saved them to the 4/6 desktop File elements for the  Alice Junior DCP are downloading to Jack's webpage and should finish later this evening Outgoing/Shipping (content): Print/video Inspection: Double checked the grease cue marks on reels 3...
