To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues: The round of Minecraft preceding the shorts program left the servers with a pretty substantial mess to clean up after, so the MODs asked that I delay the pre-show to the latter by fifteen minutes, which in turn caused us to have to push back the scheduled showtime for the final round in this auditorium after the NSF filmmaker Q&A ended. Thankfully there were very few tickets sold to Black Bag and the show played normally, albeit with a fifteen minute delay, after it was started manually.

Special Events/ AV set up: NSF Closing Nite shorts program went smoothly (despite the aforementioned delay to the pre-show) and the Q&A was recorded and saved to the rack desktop in booth 1 + mics from the Q&A were returned to the booth to charge

Set up a mic at Trees for the awards announcements and helped John prepare the turntables for Ariel's afterparty DJ set (returned all gear to its storage after the party and placed the DJ ket back in the A/V bin in the mezzanine closet)

I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report Friday 1/31 CLOSE Chris

Presentation Issues: -I believe Karen thoroughly covered this in an email but there were serious issues with the CP500 for the 6:20 Lil Women; no sound for the first three minutes and it dropped out again the very moment the 500 was taken off manual. The last foil cues continue to fail to fire. The platter worked fine, tho it is not a graceful competence, double-wrapping the film around the brain in the first fourth of the movie before the motor kicks in. -The Rhythm Section SPL had it's LTS DOWN cue set to fire at the beginning of the 10 count preshow portion, rather than the end when the trailers hit. Fixed that.
