Projection Admin 4/30



To do this evening/ was completed: A note for tomorrow: Please see the outgoing section in this blog. Also, friendly reminder to be on the lookout for the BluRay of Cleopatra Jones. I will be at our morning managerial staff trip and have switched shifts with Will, but I'll forward any pertinent info throughout the day. 

Weekly update is out! Have a good read when you can, please. Spoons is tomorrow...make sure to prep in the morning, please! 

Staff Screenings have been emailed out, playlists built, scheduled on the LMS and blocked on the calendar. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Tech'd the playlist fo Thunderbolts. New comics preshow looks/sounds good. Feature is all set. 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: We are all set for the screening of In the Loop this evening in T3. I tested the mics, playlist, etc. Spots are working, just remember to flip the switch! 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Received and ingested Hairspray (1988) version via Deluxe. 

Received and ingested The Kingdom (T3 screener for Friday). I only ingested this directly to T3. This is encrypted, so I reached out for the KDM delivery info. Update: Keys have been delivered/ingested! 

*Received the file link for I Killed My Mother from Kino. It's an MP4 and needed its ratio formatted in Handbrake, which I have running on the iMac in T1. Once this is done, please DCP it to the George Ivan drive. FYI - the file we'll DCP is called IKilledMyMother_DCP and the OG MP4 is on the George Ivan Drive. 

I have started downloading the NoBudge #45 files to the iMac in T1. Please continue to do this throughout the evening. You can do some in 4/6 if you'd like. 

Matthew will drop off the print of Eraserhead tomorrow! 

New Tremors BluRay should be delivered by 10pm this evening. Give us/Chenelle a shout if it does not. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content): There was a note on the white board about which films are leaving us in the next few days and Until Dawn was incorrectly listed there. The films we're losing are as follows: 
Black Bag, Mickey 17, Sacramento. Please take those down tomorrow morning! Thank you! 

Deleted all previous Mubi promos and added the new one to the Fame & Robocop playlists.

Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Added a feature volume cue to the pre-show playlist for Postcards from the Edge Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Finished converting all NoBudge45 shorts to DCP Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Fantastic 4 posters were delivered in addition to teaser posters for The Smashing Machine + a box containing two Lilo & Stitch standees was dropped off and can likely be given away at trivia/to whoever wants a life size Stitch in their home and/or eventually thrown away Ordering/Receiving (content): The Bitter Tears of Petra Von Kant print was delivered and brought up to booth 1 this afternoon + downloaded both slides for this film's pre-show and saved them to the 4/6 desktop File elements for the  Alice Junior DCP are downloading to Jack's webpage and should finish later this evening Outgoing/Shipping (content): Print/video Inspection: Double checked the grease cue marks on reels 3...
