NPP Projection Admin 4/9

To do this evening/ was completed: Staff Screenings have been emailed out, scheduled on the LMS and blocked on the calendar. Weekly projection update is also out, so take a good look at that when you're available! There's some important housekeeping notes concerning house maintenance, scheduling, expectations, etc. - Lillian  

We had our cinema meeting and everything's looking good, we just need Superbad (coming via Sony) and the NewFest content (coming via Monisha and her team, hopefully as soon as possible as there's a chance we might be DCPing their assets and feature content). We will keep you updated. We're in conversation with them. - Lillian 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the rest of the SE playlists for this week, apart from Sunset Boulevard, which we'll be going through this Friday. Sacramento playlists sorted. Finished scheduling them on the LMS (just not the overlapping shows) - Lillian 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: 

*Ran the BluRay of Wall-E (for the private on 4/24!) through MakeMKV, then Handbrake. This is still finishing up in Handbrake, so please keep an eye on it! Thank you! 

*Built and scheduled the screening for the private event of Minecraft in T1 on Friday. Added this to the calendar, too. Adjusted the tech for 12:15. - Lillian

Ingested the 20min and 40min Vampires preshow to the LMS. (update: scratch the 20min, the 40min comes out to 15minutes!)

Also FYI- Sinners 5min preshow has yet to be moved out of the x Do Not Ingested x folder on the drive - Lillian

We're waiting on quite a few keys - Gosford Park, Sunset Boulevard, Miracle Mile, Fright Night...I will be following up tomorrow/Friday for a few of these if they don't come in. - Lillian

I talked to Monisha from NewFest about the private event on the 17th. It's a showing of the Wedding Banquet remake so the studio (Bleecker Street) will be delivering that to us. Other than that there's some preshow, trailers, and holding slides which will be sent to us over Google Drive to convert to DCP. -A

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Damsels went out this morning. 

Print/video Inspection: La Dolce Vita inspection needs finishing. - L

Maintenance/cleaning: Ran loops for Kings of Comedy tonight. Should be all set for this evening. Also, I ordered some alcohol dispensers with the little pumps like they have in most beauty supply stores. They're super helpful for dispensing the right amount of alcohol and they're a lot more fool proof than keeping the large open bottles near the projectors/equipments when we need to clean them, which is most of the time. I also ordered some gloves for doing gear grease. - Lillian

Wall mounted the two HDMI/ethernet receivers for Theater 1 (one for laptops on stage and one for cable) in the booth. -A
