Projection Admin 5/26



To do this evening/ was completed: Changed the lamp in T6. Looking nice and bright. Checked in on all theatres throughout the day.

The plan right now is that Alec will be in tomorrow morning to reset the booths to their normal setup, then he'll be off to Williamsburg. We opened early today, so no point in doing that this morning. 
No issues at all. 

Tomorrow's shows have already been scheduled, and Alec will get things back to normal early in the day, but double check them when you can as per normal. FYI - tomorrow we have three techs. Two analogue - The Queen/Look Who's Talking. DCP of X/1999 in T2. 

Scanners is set for this evening in T2, just adjust volume depending on the crowd. 

Ingested all the Karate Kid preshow, new trailers via Deluxe and the new Matrix Revolutions trailer. Precode Parade preshow is in. 

Built almost all the new A1 playlists, which we can follow up with the OCAP playlists once we receive the film schedule. 

Started on the SE playlists. Waiting on some slides. 

Reached out to Kat for the Fantasy preshow. I think we had this not that long ago, but it's not on the preshows/trailers drive, nor is it on the LMS or in Google drive, from what I can see. Some times I just can't see it in the drive...

Once Alec puts the cables back to their OG spot, Gwendoline can be transferred from the LMS to T3 tomorrow. Thank you!

Reached out to the contact for Heavenly Bodies since it had been a minute since we'd heard from him. The DCP is uploading to his filemail server as we speak and it should be available to download this evening. If not, then tomorrow. 

We're waiting on Redlands DCP still, but we've still got some time plus a backup prores file just in case, but George should be sending that DCP to us at some point this week. 

Front and brunch sides of the marquee have been updated.

Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection 6/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: PS107's event in theater 2 went smoothly and the mics were returned to the booth to charge following the show Set up for trivia at Trees Lounge this evening The Matrix Revolutions screening in theater 1 went well save for some alternating of volume levels throughout as the audio for the first few reels was very hushed compared to how loud the rest of it gets once the action starts in reels 4-7 (mics were returned to the booth to charge and both projectors were cleaned + exhausts shut) Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Received copies of  Best in Show and The Princess Bride for upcoming private events this week and began ripping  Best in Show through MakeMKV and HandBrake (update: the film is running through DCP-o-matic and should finish within 24 hours) Outgoing/Shipping (content): Print/video Inspection:  The...
