NPP Projection Close 7/11
To do this evening/ was completed:
Presentation Issues: A guest complained that the masking wasn't opened all the way for Superman in theater 1 during its final round...I checked on this and saw a sliver of image reflected on the left side curtain (these were open to 1.85:1 and the edge of the screen/picture was visible) which had become bunched up from opening up and stuck ever so slightly on the edge of the screen
Had a couple sightings of "things on the screen" by MODs/guests this evening...these were bugs...not much to be done about this with doors opening and closing around the building but something to be aware of during shifts
Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built all remaining PG-13 and R rated show playlists for the week of 7/18 (and reached out to Kat about potentially re-uploading the "Western_5min" preshow file as there was some difficulty getting it ingested to the LMS -- currently using a generic 5min file to fill time in the playlist)

Built show playlists for Pee-Wee's Big Adventure (7/19-2) and Tango & Cash (7/21) -- still waiting on feature content for Roman Holiday and Gunsmith Cats
Built and tech'd a (tentative) show playlist for NoBudge46, using the tech notes on the event memo to set masking and volume levels...this can be adjusted after the actual tech with the programmers but I will take a look at it tonight to be sure I haven't made any errors [update: everything looks and sounds good to me but I did notice the FLAT films were a little off center so I ran a house check afterwards and adjusted the 1.85 lens file to better situate it inside the masking]
Added a lights cue for the credits to Beverly Hills Cop and scheduled it on 7/14 + scheduled the show playlist for Death Becomes Her on 7/14 as well
Scheduled Eddington in theaters 1 and 4 for its advance screenings on (Thursday) 7/17
Trailer Updates:
Special Events/ AV set up:
Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received posters for The Cat in the Hat and added them to the storage space behind 3/7
Ordering/Receiving (content): Copied the Circumstantial Forgiveness DCP from the desktop to the P&T drive and ingested it to the LMS + added this to the TECH playlist for NoBudge in its correct order

Ran the Punchline blu-ray through MakeMKV and HandBrake (approximately 6 hours remaining for it to finish running through this)
Outgoing/Shipping (content):
Print/video Inspection: Tech'd Pavements in theater 3 for volume and credits (note: the film is said to be "1.85" but the majority of it is actually 1.78 and pillar boxed...the rest of the film is a mix of scope and flat formats -- all of it housed in a 1.85 container -- so I'm bringing the masking in since I have yet to see any one shot stretch past this setting) **took a look at the film's trailer before leaving and it is in fact 16x9 or 1.78**
Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:
Maintenance/cleaning: Cleaned the projectors in theater 1; not much in the way of excess oil coming from the traps on either machine but some residual dirt/dust from recent prints has since been brushed away
Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Took the liberty of checking/adjusting the next three days' cue sheets to avoid having to worry about it later -- expect quite a few negative flips/manual starts in the coming days -- and cross referenced the schedule and website to be certain + initialed for confirmation
Marquee updated?:
Posters updated?:
Cleaning lights on for the night?: Yes
Projection cart by entrance?: Yes
Additional Notes: Updated the dry erase boards in 4/6 with relevant information for upcoming first run and special event titles
