NPP Projection Close 8/27



To do this evening/ was completed: Took down the last two days of 35mm letters and put up upcoming shows on the marquee.

Brought down Babysitters Club print to T1 and inspected all of it. It's in very good condition. The reels are tails out on their shipping reels inside the cans so they can easily be wound on to show reels in the next few days. Also: all reels except 5 had their leaders (heads and tails) taped to the rest of the film, not spliced, so I spliced the leaders together. Also also, the leaders start right at 11, nothing before that, so we may want to add a little bit of leader to the beginning. I've yet to do that. Lastly I believe inspection report needs to be sent over to Sony.

Feathers DCP is downloading to 4/6 desktop, Are You Still Watching DCP added to Share drive and Futz is transcoding in 4/6 DCPoMatic.

Casino went very smoothly. Print has been rewound back on to its shipping reels.

NPP Projection Admin (Lillian/Will) 7/7

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday).
