NPP Projection Close 8/9



To do this evening/ was completed: A fairly busy evening here, which was nice. 

Presentation Issues: Plex was acting up a little in Trees, so I tried rebooting it from our end and they unplugged and replugged the Apple TV and it seemed to start working again. The general issue seemed to be that it kept pausing, stopping and starting. It might be a network issue if it persists.

Ordering/Receiving (content): Drive finished downloading onto the Share Folder and I ingested it into LMS. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Looked at the first 3 reels of a so-far pristine print of Wheels on Meals. So pristine in fact that it doesn't have cues. I didn't have a chance to go back and put them there, but either I can do that Tuesday or someone else can handle it. It also didn't have any subs so I assume this is an English dub. The reels are rewound heads out (they came tails) and in their box for now. 

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Removed a seat from the front row of Theater 5 for a guest and had a hell of a time putting it back. I swept out all the crud between the seats, but it still was having trouble lining up witth all the holes. I managed to get it back in and secured, but that screen facing front right screw might need to be adjusted. 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Cross referenced with tomorrow's automation and set.

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. NPP Projection Admin (Lillian/Will) 7/7

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday).
