NPP Projection Report 8/14 Admin


To do this evening/ was completed: Together can come down from the marquee tonight and be replaced with Nobody 2 and Highest 2 Lowest.

Brian from Non-Films is coming to pick up his hard drive tonight at 8.

Reminder that Highest 2 Lowest keys don't open until midnight tonight, so please give it a quick check during admin tomorrow and check volume with a crowd in the evening.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built and scheduled the Showgirls playlist. Jack, can you add volume cues for the songs from when you teched them on Tuesday? We'll also need to get the credit offset for the feature when we have active keys.

Noticed all the first run playlists for the 15th had the Drama policy in place of the How To Order PSA in the preshow. I swapped them all out.

I wrote the volume levels for the new 5.1 PSA/HN/Policy clips on the white board for quick reference.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Punchline is ready to roll for tonight. Purple wash with center spots for the intro/standup is bank 3 scene 8. There's a mic on a stand on stage.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Grabbed the Cleopatra Jones blu-ray and ripped it. It's converting to DCP onto the G.I. drive down in 1.

Ingested Tales from the Hood, To Wong Foo, and Showgirls to the LMS.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Cleared content which isn't currently being used from the IMSes.

Both Bad Boys prints will be getting picked up tomorrow. They're ready to go on the cart.

Print/video Inspection: Listened to Nobody 2 in the staff screening. Sounded good at 5.5 and with sales as they are I think we're safe to just leave it at that.

Posters updated?: I took down Realm of Satan and Together. Moved Honey Don't and Caught Stealing outside and hung The Roses and Conjuring in the lobby.
**I pulled Eddington from trivia and put it in the same caddy slot as Together, please save both in case they come back. Thank you!**

I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. NPP Projection Admin (Lillian/Will) 7/7

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday).
