Projection Admin 8/27 Lillian

To do this evening/ was completed: Wound up coming in today as it would be easier to get a few things done for the week. I set up everything for Shouting at the Screen tomorrow, which includes the PA speakers, Yamaha, wireless mic mixer and AJA. I tested the wireless mics and laptop connection. The bluetooth remote is in 4/6 on the side desk. Please remember to turn everything on - both mixers, both speakers, and the panels on the front of the wireless mic mixer (this has been missed in the past). Thanks! 

Presentation Issues: Not a presentation issue, but when I went to go tech something in T3, I noticed the lights weren't changing. Turns out something had potentially triggered the fire alarm mechanism this morning. I reset the ground floor theatres. All good. 

Staff Screenings have been emailed out, playlists built and scheduled on the LMS, blocked on the calendar. Keys for Caught Stealing open up tomorrow. 

We had our cinema meeting today. We're looking good on content but I've touched base with Chenelle about some private events. We have an event on 9/02 and do not have the feature yet, but Chenelle touched base with them today to remind them of the late fee. We might get it today...I will keep you informed. You might have also noticed my inquiry on the event memo for the three films private event on saturday, 9/06, in which it looks like Magnolia Memorial (listed as T7 in CPL) is in T5 on the event memo and Love, Gilda is in T7 instead of T5, where we currently have it. I thought that was strange, so I asked. I'm assuming we are correct and it might be wrong on the event memo, but Chenelle will double check with them tomorrow during their meeting. 

For the above, I took a look at all elements of this program in T3, 5, and 7 today to make sure it all looks good and touched base with the hosts. I asked the host if they'd like to come in early Friday to see everything and they'll already be there, so they said yes. If we need to make that 5/7 swap, we totally can, but everything looks great anyway.

Maintenance/cleaning: NOTE: whilst setting up for Shouting, the small mechanism that secures the center leg of the speaker stand completely crumbled in my hand, so, I've ordered another. It will be here by September 3rd. Seems like there's some amount of potential for us to fix the broken one it since it's just tiny (but very important) piece, but in any case, for now the right side speaker is on the floor as we normally have it for Live Sound Cinema performances. It is working perfectly fine. 

Lenses/plates swapped for tonight's screening of Casino. 

The soundtrack app is all set on the iPad, fully updated. 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes. Filled in some more info for special events this week.

Marquee updated?: Caught Stealing can either get put up late tonight or tomorrow once Will gets in, and the poster banner should be changed out. We'll update Friday with Splitsville and The Roses.
