Projection Admin 8/29

To do this evening/ was completed: You may have noticed a few communication issues with some emails regarding shipping/receiving, which have been cleared up. I let Alec know that the projection email he was using in his away message is incorrect (I have accidentally used this one a few times myself). Brian from Janus helped me clear things up with the La Haine print, which they will be shipping to that theatre in Cleveland using our FedEx account since we accidentally sent it back to the Academy- mind you, Brian only included me in that email for that first correspondence and although we were confused by the projection email mishap, he has, in the past, always included the correct projection email as well as Alec's, but I think because he just saw Alec's away message that he decided to cc the wrong one. In any case, I let him know to continue to--and always--cc our projection email, John's, and mine and Alec's singular work emails just in case. I also confirmed the Willamsburg projection email with him.

I had a nice long meeting with Devin from the TEAL organization for the multiple private events happening next Saturday. I wanted to make sure I could get everything checked on screen with her well in advance of the big day, which we will be sure to have good support for. Went through the ROS, noting down volume, masking, music, intros/discussions -some of which may or may not happen, but she'll let us know as soon as possible. There will be various outro cues when their choir comes in at the end of two screenings (in T3/T7) I will put all of this information info much finer detail soon.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: I adjusted volume levels for Caught Stealing and The Roses (the former of which is plenty loud at 5.0, at least to my ears, and the latter of which is definitely on the quieter side, so I brought it up considerably). Splitsville looks/sounds great, too!

Got eyes on African Queen to make sure we're all set for tomorrow. I brought the volume up to 7.0. It's an oldie, it's a soft one.

Trailer Updates: Ingested Him trailer per Kat's new list - playlists can get built for 9/05.

Special Events/ AV set up:

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): BIG FYI - keys for Tremors come in very late on Sunday (annoying, but it's what we've got to work with)

We received the DCP for the animated Lord of the Rings through Zap (Media Shuttle) which we needed an updated version of our Signiant app for an easier downloading process. I updated the Signiant app and the film is currently downloading.

Ingested the following preshow content to the LMS:
PS_SE_ABC_V3_5min_SEP25_HigherLearning
Forecasts for 9/05

Ingested DCPs: Feathers feature, Blob feature
Ingested Animated Shorts: Ninetyfive Senses, Flutz, Are You Still Watching
I DCP'd and ingested Pawn Shop. Please continue to DCP short films.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Casino got picked up this morning. I scheduled a pickup for Clueless. It's outbound.

FYI - I will be shipping out It's Alive after the weekend.

Print/video Inspection: Ran Babysitter's Club (we're all set for tomorrow) and Fantastic Planet for Desmond in theatres 4 and 1.

I put The Babysitter's Club on house reels. No idea why the first reel of this was in theatre 1, unless Jack was being wise to stay away from my almost-recovered-sick-self whilst I was in 4/6.

I transferred all the slides and short films for the Fantastic Planet screening to Theatre 1 today, which Desmond and I also took a look at.
