Projection Admin 9/27

 To do this evening/ was completed: I'll get some content out of T3 tomorrow evening so we can free up some space for the NewFest features as we'll be teching them this Monday. 

Caught up with DMS for the T6/T2 inquiries. 

Made the rounds. We'll have to change the lamp in T3 sometime within the next week and a half ish. 

Presentation Issues:


Preshow Clips/Playlist: Wasn't sure DEBs got techd, so I took a look at it onscreen today before doors, adjusted volume. Looks/sounds great.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):


Ordering/Receiving (content): I unzipped and ingested Queerpanorama (Newfest feature) to the LMS today. 
I was trouble ingesting the DCP for Same, Again (also a NewFest feature). Downloading twice didn't work, so I checked it in DCP-o-matic since nothing seemed to be wrong with it at face value, and I only found the volume to be peaking, but again, sometimes a DCP will not ingest to the server if the volume is peaking too much. I adjusted the volume and it's now running again in DCP-o-matic, finishing to the preshow/trailers drive. Please ingest once done. 

The DCP of Paid in Full finished in T1. It's copying over to the George Ivan drive. Please ingest once done. 


Outgoing/Shipping (content): Handed off Cyborg and Trolls 2 to FedEx this morning.

I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. NPP Projection Admin (Lillian/Will) 7/7

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday).
