Projection Admin 12/23



To do this evening/ was completed: Just a note - I did mention this a few days ago, but please be mindful of double checking the servers/LMS to make sure nothing's too full as that can create functionality problems (not super common, but still) though the most pressing matter is making sure new content can ingest in a timely manner and we're not scramblin'. I went through each server today (LMS included) and did a sweep. 

KEYS for new A1s open up tomorrow!!! Please get your eyes on them early. Thank you!

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Malia got back to me about shipping The Queen out to Chicago soon for their show at Block Cinema. They'll get back to us (after the holidays) on when exactly they'll need it by. I mentioned we will not be responsible for it once it leaves here, so no need to ship it back to us, she can liase with Liz. 

Got Charlie and the Chocolate Factory shipped out of here today. 

Print/video Inspection: Desmond and I checked out Cyberslime shorts (but they have since moved to T3, so we will look again) and I ran a reel of Pan's Labyrinth, which has a great SRD track. Print info noted. Since we were out of them, I printed a bunch more print info sheets for shows, half of which are in 4/6, other half in T1. 

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Yves came in today, which Max had communicated to me late last night, for the firmware updates. Yves essentially performed a forced upgrade of the current software program...then rebooted, remarried, and no warning came up. We were a little confused at the start as they mentioned the updates having already been advanced to the highest it can be, so what happened today was just essentially an in depth power-cycling process...

Took out the trash in T1 and brought new recycling bags up to 4/6. Added one in 4/6. 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Adjusted the formula for Stranger Things and added the showtimes to the cue sheets.

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. NPP Projection Admin (Lillian/Will) 7/7

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday).
