NPP Projection Report 1/22 Admin

To do this evening/ was completed: Ran loops for Rhinestone today and fixed the projectors up for Scope. Spent some time trying to adjust P1 so it's sharper. I added a masking cue to the playlist since I didn't see one in there. Double checked the Dolly preshow and intro video to make sure the sound was all good. Remember to turn the vents on properly. - LH 

Adjust the staff screening for today since we had maintenance going on in T2, but we're all set for it in that screening room for tomorrow morning. Added a house lights down cue. - LH

Ordering/Receiving (content): I noticed today that Road Games was scheduled on the cue sheets and on the LMS as being in T4 but was initially on the calendar for T3, which is what we had received keys for (specifically that screening room) which is why the LMS was showing it as unreadable, despite looking like the right set. I think this was just a calendar mistake as the film schedule does, in fact, show this as screening in T4. I emailed the distro with T4 certs and they got back to us today with the right keys. - LH

John reached out about 9 - 5 since only WB has it, so we're waiting on that. I'll reach back out tomorrow morning first thing if doesn't come in this evening. - LH

We received Train Dreams and Dancing Lady today. Both in T1.- LH

Went through a bunch of content on packed servers to see what we could get rid of and what we can't. - LH

Print/video Inspection: Inspected all of Train Dreams (which is  expectedly pristine) - LH

Maintenance/cleaning: Maintenance in Theater 2 today. DMS installed a power conditioner unit (essentially a really big surge protector) which connects between the outlet and the projector. This is monitoring the power going to the projector and shuts things down if there are any issues. The wire from the projector to the conditioner (this used to go directly into the outlet) was replaced as well. Vlad also replaced the breaker, outlet, and the wiring between the two, for the Christie. He needed a three-phase breaker (the Christie was previously connected to a single phase), so I had him use the one for 35mm projector #2 since neither of these are being used, nor will they be. As far as what that means for installing 70, we'll have to cross that bridge when we come to it, but since we are only installing one 70mm projector this may be fine as is. -AL

We also have our old IMS2000 from Theater 1 back (including the drives with better storage). Since it seems the issue was the PIB here, not the IMS, I will try putting this server back in tomorrow first thing since we'll need to ingest some content. Though the server should still have most, if not all, of the content we need for tomorrow on it, which is Marty Supreme and Zootopia. We will keep the IMS3000 as an emergency backup. -AL
