NPP Projection Report 1/31 Open


To do this evening/ was completed: Remember to write the volume down when teching prints, Train Dreams had no volume noted anywhere I could find.

Special Events/ AV set up: The 9 to 5 playlist for this weekend had all the drag show content from Thursday in it. A new playlist was made (it was dated 013126), so I guess it was just copied and not changed. Got a call that the movie hadn't started and saw the intro slide was paused on screen. Skipped ahead to the Dolly Parton video intro and let it play from there. I made a new playlist for tomorrow.
-Because of this, timing on the cue sheet was about 20 minutes off. I let MODs know and fixed it for tomorrow.

I set up the wireless mic receivers and the mixer in T1 for the Deuce show tomorrow. The HDMI connection is ready as well, you'll just need to switch some stuff on for them.

I put the 1.85 lenses and plates in the T1 projectors after Train Dreams. Make sure to run loops before tomorrow's show!

Train Dreams went well. The print is packed up. I've inquired about the return as this wasn't shipped to us via FedEx.

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday).
