NPP Projection Report 1/7 Admin


To do this evening/ was completed: Hey everyone, when packing up prints, please print and attach shipping labels and schedule pickups immediately and add the outgoing tracking to the asset tracking doc. (That means we'll need to keep this up to date!) We are trying to keep closer track of film shipping costs in the new year. There are columns for incoming and outgoing tracking (John will fill in the incoming, but tag him in a comment on the cell if something is missing that's coming up soon) in the doc for January. This is for 35mm prints only.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Cleaned the projectors and ran loops for Pan's Labyrinth tonight.

Mics are set in Theater 3 for Cyberslime.
-Heads up, with these smaller Shure mixers in T3 and T7, make sure the "Aux In" knob is turned all the way down. I noticed today that having it turned up markedly affects the sound quality from the mics.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Maximum Overdrive print arrived.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Printed labels for Flying Guillotine and scheduled a pickup for tomorrow.

Ingested ARCO for the 1/11 private event.

Print/video Inspection: Looked at the Dragon Heart DCP and updated the playlist and cue sheet.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Remember to keep this updated as the cinema team will be adding incoming tracking and checking for when we add outgoing. I added all January rep titles.

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday). To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Do the Right Thing screening in theater 1 went very smoothly Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Uploaded keys for The Warriors Outgoing/Shipping (content): Contacted DHL and brought  Do the Right Thing downstairs for it to be picked up tomorrow + removed Deep Blue Sea content from the LMS/theater 3 Print/video Inspection: Tech'd Deep Blue Sea in theater 3 this morning (mostly for a laugh) and the 5.5 volume setting is perfect + re-inspected  Do the Right Thing  after the show and cleaned the projectors/shut the exhausts Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Maintenance/cleaning: Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Marquee updated?: Removed the outgoing brunch titles and replaced them with letters for Pavements Posters updated?: Cleaning lights on for the night?: Projection cart by entrance?: Additional Not...
