Projection Admin 1/29



To do this evening/ was completed: Been following the tracking for the Die Hard and Unbreakable prints, which were supposed to arrive earlier today, but the tracking info hasn't been updated since they landed in Jersey. They're on the way, but delayed. Fingers cross these show up tomorrow. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built playlists for Let the Right One In, Frankenhooker and the Die Hard double feature. There is only one playlist for the double feature so far seeing as how the intermission will not have any content (confirmed with Desmond) but the Sam n Bruce 5min preshow after the intermission will immediately follow up with Shay's trivia session, so the 5min preshow we can just pull up manually beforehand. The rest of the show we can do manually, just requires a slight source shift. We'll have to setup for laptop connection before the first show. 

Tech'd Arco and Send Help

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Set up the speakers, yamaha, wireless mic mixer for the drag show tonight. Everything has been tested and the levels are set. Will knows to just turn everything on. We printed out the ROS with the light cues for each performance. I tech'd the feature and DCP'd the final song we received today for Ma'am She. 

Raekwon will be dropping off a BluRay for Blazing Saddles in the coming days. 

As for the private event (Sirat) on 2/12, they have not officially confirmed yet, but we have the DCP. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Received and ingested Peter Hujar's Day

Outgoing/Shipping (content): The boxes for A Few Good Men have not been picked up by the Sony courier yet...please keep an eye on this and if they don't get snagged tonight, I'll email them. 

Print/video Inspection:

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Updated the whiteboard for SE titles in 4/6. 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes. 

Marquee updated?: Too many delivery trucks spending outrageous amounts of time in the front, so the letters are sorted, but we'll need to put up both Send Help and Arco once they've moved. Send Help today, Arco tomorrow.

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday).
