NPP Projection Open 5/11

To do this evening/ was completed: John got a response back in regard to shipping rates - FedEx is still shuffling a lot around in general, but we should have our discounted plan back up and running by tomorrow. We will keep you updated. - L

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlists for Ferris Beuller and Prince Achmed (need to tech achmed and the shorts). Built the second private playlist for tomorrow (Super Mario Bros) and made sure both private screenings are scheduled for tomorrow morning.  - L

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Setup the external speakers, yamaha, and wireless mic mixer in T2. Just turn everything on. Tested spots (preset info in the event memo!) and mics. I went through the playlist to double check volume for the drag show and feature. Note - I mentioned this before, but friendly reminder that I have added a volume cue about halfway through Suburbia's set since there's multiple songs and the last one needs to be louder. Should be a great show! - L

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Street Fighter posters were delivered and stored behind 3/7 -WB

The Invite, Mandalorian/Grogu, Super Troopers 3 posters stored in 3/7 - L

Ordering/Receiving (content): Received keys for Super Mario Bros, Christophers and The Drama. - L

In contact with Grady for the SOF this June, which should have subs, but we'll double check once it arrives. He's given us a heads-up as to where we should be able to first see them. - L

Outgoing/Shipping (content): The Virgin Suicides will get picked up tomorrow morning. Reached out to Katie for the label since it didn't come with one. This is on the cart downstairs. - L

Print/video Inspection: Sent the pre-screening inspection report of Ladies of Leisure to the folks at Sony and informed them I'd send the post inspection report once the show is over. - L

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday).
