Projection Admin 5/7 Lillian
To do this evening/ was completed: Back in the swing of things. Thanks for the coverage, folks.
Got our new macbook setup today and printed out a label for it. I transferred all of our preexisting information from the old to the new, including Splashtop, which is ready to go. I've tested it, too, just in case. The password for the user NPP Projection is the same as it was before. The old macbook is in the box the new one came in and we can still use it in a pinch if need be.
There are two assisted listening devices out right now - one in T4 and another in T1.
Presentation Issues:
Preshow Clips/Playlist: Tech'd both Sheep Detectives and Mortal Kombat. Mortal Kombat is very loud, so I brought it down to 5.0, whereas Sheep Detectives might need a lift. Let's see how it's sounding with a crowd tomorrow. See notes on cue sheets below.
Trailer Updates:
Special Events/ AV set up: Setup for Spoons and Doc n Roll in T1. I brought the lightboard back up to T1 booth after testing everything since you'll need to use it via the booth for Doc n Roll first. Just bring it back down for Spoons when the time comes. You'll see the dmx cable for it on top of the table. Just plug everything in. Additionally, you don't need to use the PA for the intro/q&a, just bring the mics down when it is time for Spoons and then turn everything on - yamaha, wireless mic mixer panels. The Spotify playlist for Doc n Roll is ready to go via the iMac in T1 booth, which you'll use Digital 4 for, as before, for preshow (still just the slide, which will also be used for the intro, you'll just switch sources). I added the extra trailer they sent and techd it with the playlist.
Outgoing/Shipping (content): Re: Jack's note on shipping. Our shipping rates have, indeed, almost doubled and I'm not entirely sure why. I sent an email to Matthew and Alec about this. There was a general rate increase that took effect in January, but this is the first time I've seen such expensive shipping rates, so I'm holding off on shipping right now until we get to the bottom of this. I did, however, confirm the address for Help!!! after reaching out to Ivan. Once we figure out shipping costs, we can get this and The Rookie on their merry way.
Print/video Inspection:
Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:
Maintenance/cleaning: I hooked up the fourth (though it is labeled #3) TV in Trees, and tested it. All are running smoothly. We might want to get a longer cable so that we can put it behind the TVs, but it still looks good.
Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes. The CCAP playlist for Sheep Detectives had the house lights up cue in the wrong spot, so I adjusted that, but I also noticed the timing was a little off on the sheets. It's 7 minutes of credits instead of 6. Adjusted the formula and updated the showtimes for the rest of the week.
Marquee updated?: Added Sound of a Dream to the Doc n Roll side of the marquee.
Posters updated?:
Cleaning lights on for the night?:
Projection cart by entrance?:

The DJ for Doc n Roll should be here closer to 6:30.
Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):
Ordering/Receiving (content): Received assets for Prince Achmed, all of which have been downloaded to the desktop; holding slide (which is a video and has both the Achmed poster and then the Morriccone Youth title after. this has been DCP'd and ingested), a short film (Art of Lotte) which has also been DCP'd and ingested, and the credits for the band, which are currently transcoding in 4/6.

Ingested the DCP of Jurrassic Park to the LMS for the private event on 5/12.
