NPP Projection Close 7/6



To do this evening/ was completed: I took down the brunch letters to make way for the marquee rental but wasn't able to start with the rental letters as the rain picked back up, so that will have to go up tomorrow morning.

All the President's Men went smoothly until the last reel. Halfway through the reel, the lamp went out. I called MOD and stopped the show, put house lights up, MOD made an announcement about the lamp. I couldn't unlock the lamphouse door to investigate, and simply turning the breaker on and off did nothing, so I just transferred the reel to the other projector and picked back up where we left off. The crowd lost about a minute of image overall. This happened just a few minutes before the credits start in the film. Afterward, I was able to unlock the door and I nudged the cable, which seemed to do the trick once I turned the breaker back on: I was able to strike the lamp successfully.

Apparently someone sprinted out of the theater when the lamp went out and called the police, who showed up briefly to investigate. I was told this by staff members afterward.

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. To do this evening/ was completed: I will be out tomorrow as I'm still recovering from a bad cold and need another day to rest. I will have notes via email tomorrow. I will also be joining the cinema meeting and will be remoting in from home. I reached out to Rebecca again and cc'd Lauren and Ian who will be here during the early hours tomorrow so that they know I'm out in case they walkie and can contact me via phone/email. If Jack is able to come in a little earlier, I'll let management know. I let management know about the iPad (per Jack's blog) which I'm running the updates on right now and had hoped would be done soon but they're still going so I let them know to use the Spotify app in the meantime if Soundtrack doesn't work, but it should.  The print of It's Alive  went down well (if you don't count the lad that threw up in the theatre and then right outside the door). NPP Projection Report 11/23 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Checked the Home Alone DCP ahead of the private event this morning, no issues. The party was a bit late seating, so the movie start was a little bit delayed. Overall it ran smoothly. Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Kat will be making a DCP of Guardians of the Galaxy tomorrow for the private event in T1 on Tuesday morning. Chenelle will get the blu-ray sent over here for us to have as backup. I set up the blu-ray player so it's connected to both the monitor and the projector, in case we end up needing to use the blu-ray. I sent Lillian and McKegg an email about this separately. I checked the scope blu-ray projector channel in Theater 1 and it's good to go should we need to screen the blu-ray. I started the DCP of Death Race 2000 on the T1 Mac.
